I've gotten numb to football losses. I haven't thrown anything in a few years. Most of the time, I don't even scream at the TV. The last year and a half of ButchBall was like Novacaine.

These BasketVols, I'll miss.

Proud of that effort and proud of the entire season. Things weren't clicking in the first half and at the beginning of the second. But that rally was legendary. Couldn't ask for more from these guys (except less nerves so they could hit a few more free throws). Special group.

And looking at the Lamonte "foul", looks to me like he was all set to block the shot, but pulled his hand down. If he doesn't pull it down, I think he block the shot clean and the "contact" with the leg would have been ignored completely. Oh well. Hindsight.

Smart play by the Purdue shooter. He fished for that contact and got it. Ball was already out of the hand too. Stinks. Hank is right. You let that incidental contact ride in a game winning shot

Virginia looks terrible every time I watch them play, yet they somehow still win.

If there wasn't a scoreboard telling me differently, I would assume they were losing by double digits.
