I’ll miss watching this Tennessee team not just for the GIFs of Williams photobombing Schofield at SEC Media Days or for the pregame slow-motion dunk videos. I’ll miss it because in a sport loaded with one-and-dones and blue bloods, Tennessee was a blast from the past. They played like a team that actually liked each other instead of looking like a handful of guys doing their own thing to show off their NBA skill set.

They say all good things must come to an end.

Tennessee was a good thing, and it bums me out that it ended like it did on Thursday night.

I hope the work that Admiral and Kyle did lead to sustained success for the next few years.

Not nearly the results we wanted, but I guarantee you that no one would be happier than those two if we go on a tear and win a few SEC titles in a row and have a few great deep runs into the tournament.

I'd pay money to see a heartwarming buddy-comedy starring those two.

Ok, I've started my screenplay for this.

Basic plot outline: Fulkerson drops and breaks Grant's mother's rare vase, and Admiral and Grant have to road trip across the country to find a replacement.

But watch out! Anthony Jordan and Jay Bilas are racing to buy the same vase before PB&J can...becuase they're jerks like that.

Eh. I mean we were but we weren't. Purdue's defense and size have us major problems in the first half and they killed is on the boards early.

UVA s Defense is a better version of what we faced tonight.

So disappointed, but i will never forget the good times i had watching this team with my sick 74 year old Mother. We watched the last 7 games together and she had so much fun. Her favorite player is Lamonte Turner. Hopefully we are blessed enough for her to see him play again. Love this basketball team!
