A little off topic from football, but Tennessee just won a big golf tournament in Florida. The tournament had about 10 ranked teams including Alabama and Auburn. Really big win for the Vols. Back to football now.

Our sports overall are doing pretty well... if we can just get football and women’s basketball at a higher level and continue the upward trend in baseball.

He's from North Carolina and he has a lot coming back from a 28 win team with a good class coming in.

I couldn’t find where he was actually from even though he started out at Maryville. I guess being close to home helps. But someone said he only makes $475k, and UT could double that in addition to getting elite players at UT. He’s not young, and the ACC is a good conference.

No disrespect, but I am sure there is a lot of stuff going on that you haven't heard of. Does not mean that you are ill informed, it just means that it does not affect you, so why would you pay attention to it.

No disrespect but I don’t know what you’re trying to say here.

Instead of just saying Johnson when referring to OL, it would be nice if people specified R or J

I don't understand why people like to fat shame.

“Fat shaming” is a good thing. I know we live in a super sensitive omg I’m offended world where every size is beautiful .... but in real life, obesity is a disease and it should not be embraced or encouraged or taught that it is acceptable.

As the resident lefty here.. I'm all for body positivity, but with a third of our population being in the 'obese' category, maybe we ought to be less comfortable with being plus sized. There are medical conditions and exceptions, and by no means am I for throwing lard at people on the streets or making people feel otherwise uncomfortable. But I'm not going to bend over backwards trying to say it's a-okay being overweight. It's a problem and we need to do more as a society to promote healthier living.. not just promoting athleisure gear.

Did you watch that team play? You already didn’t know one team had several. NFL players on it. If Dooley didn’t hire sal, then that season is totally different.
2013 is Butch's first year. 2012 is the last year of Dooley. A lot of the guys you mention left after the 2013 season.

So let's keep on shaming the hell out of those fatties!

Let's make sure we shame the drunkies, the druggies, and the depressies too because we have absolutely have no clue how to treat disease.

Obesity, alcoholism, and drug addiction are hardly diseases. They’re the direct result of poor life choices.

Just because you choose to eat a ton of processed foods and live a sedentary lifestyle doesn’t mean you have a disease.

Just because you stick a needle in your arm, doesn’t mean you have a disease.

Your logic: we can’t call out parents who don’t pay child support. That’s dead beat shaming. They didn’t choose not to pay - they have a disease.

Well, you don't treat it by pandering to it. People in a lot of those situations have to want to change for change to begin. There has to be realized impetus. You can't force it on them and have it work, but if you cater to it, there is no actualized motivation to change.
