Like I said, I'm not suggesting they're bad recruiters. Rather, I think we all hype ourselves up thinking we have "elite recruiters" when in reality - we have a bunch of good coaching who came from good programs, and quite frankly its easy to get kids to go to good programs. Pruitt and Ansley left Alabama and their recruiting hasn't fallen off one bit. UGA's recruiting hasn't taken a dip when we took some guys off their staff. If you look at Tee Martin... all his top commits are highly rated California kids - I don't know if that's really a hard accomplishment when you're the premier football school in CA (Stanford has been better, arguably, but has much harder eligibility requirements.

Niedermeyer seems to be the one elite guy. He's been the go to for To'oto'o, Wright, and pretty sure Crouch.

And again, I'm not saying anyone on our staff is a bad recruiter. I'm just saying they're likely overrated, if only by the fans.

@butchna kind of makes my point - how many 5 stars did Pittman get before UGA? I'll assume he looked that up before asking and the answer is zero. Now he's getting them left and right and being a major thorn in our side. So is he an elite recruiter, or is it just really easy to get kids to commit to a powerhouse? Not hard to consider CJP and DA etc benefitted from that as well.

Only when that young man is a punk, lied/trolled our coaching staff, talks trash on Tennessee when he's never even played for his school, and after our university - from staff to fans - did nothing but show him love throughout his recruitment.

Would another ACL tear be a debilitating injury? No, he'd recover just fine. Not like I wished he'd get paralyzed, pearl clutcher.

The fact that you're still defending your ACL quote like it was ok should tell you it's time to check yourself. Also, there are plenty of athletes who never fully recover from one tear, much less two. Lastly, pearl clutcher? That's some weak-assed sauce.

Welp...I guess old Koepka put to rest that old adage "You can't win it on Thursday, but you sure can lose it"..

On a side note, I remember friday watching several of his offline shots get extremely lucky lies that enabled him to make par instead of what looked to be sure bogies at least when he hit them.."The dude is good and lucky, that is a hard combo to beat".

He played horribly today. Of course he wasn't the only one.

I watched 4 days of the best golfers in the world miss straight putts by wanting to see a break that was not there. You would think that after a day or two they would figure that out. I've also never seen more putts missed on the high side of the hole ever. Other than #17, Brooks missed every putt on that side. The lip outs he had today and yesterday were on the high side. Most of the putts that had breaks were only like one ball outside the lip. Crazy stuff.

Pruitt himself said 8 or 9 games will put us on track. If we do that we should be killing it on the recruiting trail

You can tell they don't play on public courses. If they did they would've known most of those putts had no break

That was sooo frustrating to watch all week. These guys are so used to playing insane break that this was just too easy for them..
