I don't think Pruitt would bat an eye at it. He's a confident dude. Was reading an article about him on The Athletic the other day, and it was said that he legitimately believes that he's the best coach in the country. That includes Saban. That's why I don't think he'd hesitate to follow him for a split second.I feel bad for which ever coach follows Saban. The chances of them finding Saban 2.0 are .00000000000000001. Their fans will hate him and call for him to fired when he doesn’t win the championship every year
That Pruitt will leave for a better job (bama) as soon as they come calling
OUTRAGEOUS

Yeah I don't think anyone can replicate what Saban had done either. He's the GOAT in the college game IMO. However, he's built such a machine down there that I almost think I a guy would have to be on a Butch Jones type level to screw it up. Alabama name brand is as strong as it's ever been, which will allow you to recruit the best players year in and year out, pretty easily. The entire state, from the government to all those involved with the university is united in helping Alabama dominate. I think you can be a below average coach and win 10 a year there.Oh I agree, I’m sure he’d leave if offered. But I doubt he, or anyone else is gonna replicate what Saban has done. And after having over a decade of Saban, a lot of their fans won’t be too happy. They’re entitled and think they should win it all ever year
This is so premature to talk about. But I still don't mind talking about it lol. If Pruitt did end up bolting for Tuscaloose, I'm hopeful that he can have a Saban/LSU type run here in which he builds a contender, and also revives the program for the long term. I just hope Jimmy Haslam won't be hiring our next coach. If Bama hires Cornbread Skoalcan once Saban is gone that means he has done a dang good job restoring TN to its glory years. We wont have trouble finding a great coach to replace him
... which is why Dabo won’t take the job even if offered. But Pruitt will. Unfortunately. I’d lay good money on him being Saban’s successor. I just hope it’s at least 3 years from now.I feel bad for which ever coach follows Saban. The chances of them finding Saban 2.0 are .00000000000000001.
