I took Dobbs for granted when he was here. What he lacked in accuracy, he more than made up for it in leadership and the "it" factor.
I played with a QB like JG, he liked the title but he had no leadership. He was arrogant, and felt like it was "his" team but he had no leadership abilities.

Just be glad you got to experience the glory years of the 90s. Many of the younger fans may never know what it feels like to experience good Tennessee football firsthand.
Is it a blessing or a curse? If we had never been good, then I would not feel the pain of knowing what should be.

I could understand, and at this point almost accept perpetual 7-8 win mediocrity as our new reality...but this isn't mediocrity, this makes no sense..we are among the worst teams in college football. We just got beat...at home...by a two win FCS school. That makes no sense...none.

I'm having a hard time believing that this football program fell so hard by accident. It's unfathomable.

I'm not superstitious at all but it's enough to make me wonder if curses are real.

I was 12-13 during Peyton's Jr season. It was awesome watching guys like D Grant, Al, Little, Fair play great defense and make plays. Tee is the greatest UT QB ever to me and my bro's . He played with heart and was a winner.
My son is getting close to the football following age, and its tough. They deserve better.

I hate to say it, but Pruitt is a failure, that is an almost undeniable conclusion you have to take from this debacle, no good HC would lose a game like this, and there is no hope on the horizon.
UL Monroe was a pretty bad team that beat Saban his first year at UA. Not saying that loss was exactly as bad as this one nor am I saying Pruitt is comparable to Saban, but good coaches have lost games like this.
