GaState changed their OC and whole offense during off season. They are now running old AppyState offense that Satterfield ran and is now running at Louisville, New OC coached at AppyState and was OC at Western Carolina.
GaState ran very little option last year and our coaches would have known it if they have done research and film study.
People tend to focus on the blatantly obvious negatives which pop out and for him it was penalties. But ignore all the solid play last year. He was our best OL play for play. Not saying a lot, but everything is relative. If people wanted to rag on actual quality of play, there were many worse OL.You don’t start as many games as he did if you’re just terrible. That was my whole point. Ppl thought he was terrible, that was never the case. Which is why schools like Oklahoma, usc etc were his choices. And now he’s starting the opener.
Idk man. If there's a chance you can get extra yards, you gotta get them. As long as he didn't get hurt, and those misleading stats are nice and padded he's good. He actually thinks he can play in the league. Are you sure it was 2nd? Could have sworn it was 3rd.
I can see us not getting the 1st on 3rd and 1. The best rb that can push a pile plays on defense.
Missouri and USCjr looked like crap. Kentucky and Vandy did not. Kentucky covered the spread and beat one of the better G5 teams who’s picked to win 10 games and won the game better than they did last season when they almost lost to 1-11 Central Michigan, that team is improved. Vandy fought hard and held Georgia for longer than they should’ve. We just suck bro get over it
Disagree. Kids were with me when I listened to this years and wanted to hear more.
Pulled up another and except 'giving your all' they weren't the same at all.
Those coaches would fail miserably in the SECWe need a Bill Snyder/Kirk Fetentz type coach who can maximize 2 & 3 stars. The good to elite recruits won't even consider us after today.
I remember a ton of people calling him false start Richmond, I don't remember too many saying he couldn't block. You don’t start as many games as he did if you’re just terrible. That was my whole point. Ppl thought he was terrible, that was never the case. Which is why schools like Oklahoma, usc etc were his choices. And now he’s starting the opener.
i think, yes, given the shape the roster was in, we'll see a youth movement in an effort to get more players that fit what pruitt wants to do, on the field. So we’re going to be forced to play freshmen for the next 2 seasons. Something just doesn’t add up.
