Rewatching the game, I know, I know. But I really want to look at the trenches closer. The D line is getting massed. Their coach is fired up and the players listen to every word he’s saying. Pruitt looks shocked.. I’m only at min 11 in the first.

No pulse or numb to any sort of message. Honestly the only way I see to right the ship is to shake it up. Bench some folks and roll the dice. Yes it starts with QB imo. No matter how you slice it our opponents know JG now . It is very easy to stop the run game and his short passing attack. GA State HC said as much .

Yea I’m glad we’re playing a pretty solid team in BYU so we will know exactly where we stand. Utah has one of the best DLs in the country so their OL will be more than ready for us.

TBF, Inky kinda has one speech he gives to the football team every season.

On the players bro. No leadership on this team. I’m gonna listen to the true old head VFLs about this. They are saying this is on the players.

All it takes it to watch the game. The players were bland and had zero passion. The first thing I said on this board. The people who played any sport competitively have had a guy or two be like this and leave gaps. Saturday MULTIPLE GUYS did it at the same time. Like I said saterdey, I would have gotten into fights and I'm not sure I would have waited to do it in the locker room.

You work your ass off all offseason to come out in the first game sticking fingers up your ass for a sniff. I saw 23 walking in that clip, yank his scholarship. 92(?) was walking pull it. Ya done son.

Rewatched some of the game. Atleast 2 times (Major Times-One Fumble and one sack given in 4th quarter) JG never saw the blitz coming. The corner blitz was the most egregious. He never even looked to his left side pre snap. Never saw the corner walk up. Then kept his back turned to the left the whole time.

JG is not the answer he has got to go.

He blocked kittens just fine when he wasn’t jumping off sides or lollygagging. Physical ability was never the issue.

I guess something about the culture of our program just hasn’t been/doesn’t instill the right mindset in guys.

You don’t start as many games as he did if you’re just terrible. That was my whole point. Ppl thought he was terrible, that was never the case. Which is why schools like Oklahoma, usc etc were his choices. And now he’s starting the opener.
