Our secondary played like ass. No argument from me on that front. But I saw absolutely nothing from AR in the first three games to suggest that was going to happen. Dude made some extremely difficult throws and I can only remember the ball being off the mark once or twice.

Hopefully this was an outlier and the wheels fall off their ****, but the plan to make AR beat us with his arm from the pocket didn't work out.

yeah that officiating crew was bad. Probably par actually given the quality we usually see. Missed a lot both ways but ultimately it felt like tennessee was a few calls behind
I will be the outlier here. I thought it was the best crew we have had, let both teams play. They could have called holds on both teams multiple times and unsportsmanlike penalties. Refs are always going to miss calls, but I didn’t see anything egregious tonight.

It might be good that this game played out the way it did. We experienced all the Florida-game tropes:
- Big player out while they get one back;
- Lifeless QB plays the game of his career;
- Early drive-killing turnover;
- Wacky “typical Florida” ending…

but we prevailed. We faced the nightmares and didn’t flinch (much).

  • For the first time since 1955, Florida has lost to Tennessee and Kentucky in the same season.
  • Billy Napier has more unsportsmanlike penalties (1) than SEC wins (0).
  • Hendon Hooker is the first Tennessee quarterback to have 325+ passing yards and 100+ rushing yards in the same game.
  • Tennessee is 4-0 for the first time since 2016.
  • Florida had 594 yards, converted 50% of their third downs, had more time of possession. And still lost.
  • In his last 15 games at Tennessee, Hendon Hooker has 45 total touchdowns.
  • For the first time since 2003, Florida has started the season 2-2.
