Lost the home Mizzou game the following season that I also attended and capped off with the epic heartbreaker in College Station and me there occupying 50 yard seats. All since I moved to DFW…oh also the Cotton Bowl loss to Kansas State. I stand with Peyton as fellow curse boys.

Couple thoughts on the defense. I think part of complimentary football is having one side of the ball pick you up if the other side isn’t at their best that day.

Defense did a great job of this at Pitt. Saturday was the offense’s turn.

Also think the last couple drives of the game are at the forefront of people’s mind. They weren’t great, but they were good enough for a 17 point lead up until that.

I heard it on the VQ podcast. Thought it was earlier in the week to alleviate the sprain and had made it a possibility for him to play against Florida.

Rewatching the game and catching a lot of stuff I didn’t notice while at the stadium. One of which is ….. DAMN Joshua Joseph’s is gonna be a monster for us.

Like, legit first round talent good.

Build your defense around him good.

He had the same procedure Tua had for his high ankle sprain. 2-3 weeks.

I think they’ve fine tuned the procedure since then and it’s actually routine. Back then it got him back on the field against LSU only for him to fall with a different injury. Of course that was a quarterback we’re talking about.

Pretty sure the first time we did it was 2015 when they come to our house. They striped their stadium. Ours is setup for the checkerboard pattern so it just made sense.

Edit: dang how’d I forget the TBA checkering? I was at that game as a student.
