Plus being moss’d means that Tillman jumped over the top of Burrell making a heck of a play. Our DBs made some plays too. A single sentence or two from the reports are getting all the attention. But read the whole thing and see. 2022 Fall Practice #15. If our pass rush materializes, that will help.
we're gonna get their ass.
add what you see above to what Narduzzi has been saying this offseason...
The Pitt game might end up looking like the South Carolina game. I think we're going to race away from them in the 1st quarter and they'll have to get off of this all-run, anti-pass mentality that Narduzzi is doubling down on. Then we got em right where we want em.
I think I'll watch this again:
It's easy to overlook what's going on at USCjr since they are way down in the recruiting rankings and the product they put on the field. Pretty much Tik Toks and memes are all I hear about them.Don’t look now, but damn South Carolina, already with two 4* DL commits, are getting crystal ball’s for 4*s Zavion Hardy and Desmond Umeozulu.
Also, getting mossed usually means good to great coverage, even greater catch...in Burrell's defense. Mossed, imo, also means: NO ONE can cover me...meaning: Ced Tillman happens.I think it’s both. They’re facing a top 10 offense in practice. If the DB’s were shutting the offense down I’d be much more worried at this point.
Call me crazy, but I think Burrell is one of our starters all season at CB unless he gets hurt.
He's spending camp going against a WR that finished in the top 5 in yards, TDs, and YACs in the SEC last season. He may face exactly 2 WRs all year that are as good or better than Tillman...
