I have argued short, smaller, quicker backs are superior in short yardage GL situations than big-heavys. Based on research by legit dudes.
But I've always loved the QB sneak. It seems so low risk, solid play. The thing I dislike with shotgun so close is losing yardage. We did it last year. Butch did it. Luckily we haven't yet this season. 2...3...plus yards fine play your offense. But I don't get taking on that risk profile over 12 inches or less.
