I've got a bottle of EH Taylor barrel proof that I've opened but keep for special occasions. We beat Bama, I diving in.I have some EH Taylor bib, and a 4 grain they released a few years ago that I have not opened. We've done several 1792 barrels, full proof that have been really good. Wasn't a fan of their sweet wheat.
Grabbed a bottle of Double Oak last week, after maybe it was you, mentioned it. It's not bad, but prefer regular woodford over it.
BT is always a good pour, but so damn hard to find anymore. We did 3 barrels of buffalo trace this year. We also did a Bulleit barrel pic that was amazing, even tho I've heard from some insiders it's Four Roses, lol.
We'd get along fine. I love Taylor but it's been impossible to find since everyone took up bourbon hunting as a hobby, particularly in 2020.I've got a bottle of regular Michters I've not opened. I've been on a 1792 kick but it's been hard to find. A friend of mine saw some and picked me up a bottle Friday. Should get it this week (he also got me a 1.75 bottle of Buffalo Trace). I'd like to find a bottle of 1792 full proof.
I like all the Old Forrester products but I've been keen on the 1920. I've got a few bottles I've not opened but are itching to try:
Col Taylor bottled in bond
Knob creek 15
Michters
I found a bottle of Elijah Craig barrel proof the other day too. Hard to find it. I've also got a couple of bottles of bookers. We'd get along fine. I love Taylor but it's been impossible to find since everyone took up bourbon hunting as a hobby, particularly in 2020.
Forester 1920 is great for how available it is
