You are what your numbers say you are, but I can't believe we are that low in Pass Yards a game. I know we gave up a ton to Florida, but the other games didn't feel that bad. I think we will get better at that stat, but it will still be in the bottom half of football.
Slovis had over 200 in the first half. We need to improve a big deal in the back end. Hopefully Dee Williams brings something. You have to think that Hadden and Charles will get better as they get more experienced. Really wish we could replace 1 and 2.

Are you suggesting only people breaking the law should travel in the passing lane?
He may not be but I sure am. I-85 is a shitshow from atlanta to Charlotte and I’m smack in the middle of them. People driving like grandpas on a highway that already has traffic jams so bad that they have threatened my job security when I used to work a county over.

Bourbon cocktails are great.

I just assume people have way more money than I do when they are mixing anything over a $30 dollar bottle of bourbon with a pop.
I just assume they have bad taste and no class. Makers mark and below are for soda, everything above that deserves a little more effort.

They players that that coaching staff is less likely to change up to this point. Flowers makes some good plays, but he has just as many bone headed plays as anyone, so I don't understand being scared of new guys making mistakes. McCollough is just slow. I think he's good if you are playing a run heavy team, but we need more speed to be better against the pass.

Oh, you're not kidding! Last year I had to go from Gaffney through Atlanta, and it's bad when going through Atlanta itself was actually a relief!

Never thought I'd want a minivan. But me and the lads took a few through SD, Montana and Wyoming and they were the most comfortable long drives and rides I've experienced.
Definitely looking forward to buying one when I have kids.
They're very safe, comfortable, and keep the bored kids from bopping one another over the head like bunnies.

People said thing about wanting other corners to play… Turnage went in the game and wasn’t even in the same time zone so he got pulled right back out…. Coaching staff will play who they trust the most…. The other guys need to do a better job building trust in practice.

Flowers almost lost his starting spot last season before Charles got hurt. He always seemed to be a couple steps away from making a lot of plays. He's made some more plays this season, but he still really needs to step up. McCullough isn't great, but I think he's probably playing better than what it looks like to the fans. Evidently he's trying to chase down coverage mistakes from the linebackers. The coaches trust him back there because he knows where he's supposed to be on most plays and is the most reliable option to make a play when someone in front of him screws up.

I still think our secondary is much better when our corners are allowed to play man instead of zone. Hadden is pretty good in man coverage but way out of his element in zone. Charles will improve...hopefully in a hurry.

This defense is not meant to be judged by the same metrics that we are used… The staff has said that they don’t really care about yardage given up…. They want negative plays…. Turnovers….make the other team kick field goals… I feel like once we get enough talent in here…. The Pittsburgh game will be the blue print for how this defense will look… The offense was not efficient enough to make this system work in the mmm at game which is why we needed overtime to win.

I don't get how Turnage had that great game last year and hasn't really shown one positive outside of that.

That may be true, but I guarantee you they didn't want to give up 450 yards passing to AR15 and allow multiple 3rd and 4th down conversions to extend drives and keep our defense on the field.
