Glacier is the prettiest place I've been to in America.

Grinell Glacier hike was well worth the time. I wish I could have spent a month there.

Later in the summer, the better. Believe it or not, the main pass doesn't open until June, sometimes mid July, because there is still snow.

I tried to go this past summer but wasn't able to get a pass so I opted for a Wyoming trip.

So far Zion has been my favorite park but I'm fully expecting Glacier to take that spot.

I don’t post much about it, but my wife could use every single prayer available right now. Probably not happening today even though she’s in a lot of distress. Doing everything we can to try and give her comfort.

I didn't like Zion half as much as Glacier. And I did like Zion. I think you will love it if you liked Zion.

True. But I rarely heard "what kind of coke do you have," it was almost always "what kind of soda or soft drink do you have."

It was always coke. . . if I wanted to sound a little more sophisticated, I'd say soda. Soft drinks are only from soda fountains, nothing in a sealed can or bottle is a soft drink, imo.

I like how your sense of time and distance get completely skewed when you go out West. Driving 3.5 hours from Chattanooga to Asheville seems like a pain in the ass to me, but something that's 7 hours away by car in Utah or Wyoming seems like a quick trip.

I don't like Martin, he is a great writer, but I don't like his...points he likes to make....the world sucks...yeah George, I know that, that is why I like to read/watch stories that don't end in depressing ways.
