32 inch is good for bedroom or outside. 50" is optimal, esp for football. LED and Super Amoled (8K) required certain lighting conditions, ive found back lighting and little natural light help, esp with football.

Again, using that BB camera size estimator shows you how big it will be on wall. Always go bigger than you think you will need.

Ive got 70" and honestly prob coulda gone 80" and been fine.

Have a 50" in living room that I really like. Its connected to an Apple TV I won at work. Trash, Roku's the deal.

agree....I was just referencing the size that UT Prof stated

Shroom legalization is on the same trajectory as Marijuana 10 years ago.

According to Schedule35, at least.

But ofc some square will try to compare the above to hard drugs like...ya know...opioids like what psychiatrists and doctors (aka legal drug pushers) prescribe every day 😂😅 and funny enough...the younger generation is also drinking alcohol significantly less.

But fr this is a positive development, along with the medicinal uses of shrooms, ketamine, even light doses of mdma and ayahuasca. I think we're seeing a revolution in medicine from this groundswell. The oldheads have understood the positive effects of psychedelics for decades. Now society is catching up.

Ek is a wild-ass man. I am a wild ass-man. There's room for all of us.

I didn't really fall in love with college football and the Vols until I was a senior in college. That was 2007. My older brother asked me to go with him to an away game in Gainesville, and I figured sure, why not? It'd be a neat experience. We got smashed, 59-20 as I recall, but I still remember coming back to my seat with the Vol section going nuts after EB's pick-six. Yelling "GO BIG ORANGE!" in unison with the other faithful while the Florida fans were completely silent is one of my most vivid football memories.

Since I became a fan, I've witnessed 8 losing seasons. I've never watched the Vols beat Alabama live. I watched us lose 5 out of 7 to Vanderbilt. I've been punched where it hurts more times than I can remember.

So if I could go back in time, would I go to Gainesville and fall in love with the Vols again, knowing the sheer amount of disappointment that was in store for me for at least the next 15 years?

Hell yes, I'd go again.

In spite of the disappointment, it's still worth it to watch that T open and hear that crowd roar and go nuts for every good play. I'd absolutely do it all over again.
I forget how young some of you are. It's sad that there's a whole generation of Vol fans who didn't get to enjoy John Ward. All they know is Bob Kesling. That breaks my heart.

For legal reasons I cannot say that I enjoy marijuana, but I did do my PhD at Colorado and I will say I am not opposed.

I do not, however, believe it's entirely harmless. I don't believe that about any drug. Many of them have medicinal benefits, and I am grateful for a couple prescribed to me by my "legal drug pusher." They also have downsides, as do those prescribed to me. In general I think pushing in the direction of decriminalization is a net positive, but I'm also not going to pretend there won't be (and aren't) negatives.

It seems like those kinds of "insiders" only come around to flex access when A) things are going really well and there's buzz around the program or B) it's coach search time.

Our program/fans aren't the only ones. So many dorks that didn't go to Alabama, Georgia, or Clemson that I've seen on social media bragging about meeting this person, sitting in those seats, or being generally "closer" to the program than the average fan.

I still want tickets to that area though.
That guy has done more real tangible good for VolNation members than any body else on this site.

I don't giva💩 if he was right or not about any recruit or coach, or why he told us what he did...the guy is a far better man than every single one of his idiot VN critics and him not being around here anymore is a bad thing for folks in need.

I am a old head and a conservative...but I agree.

A great minister once said "I am persuaded that nothing is unclean of itself"

It is the why and how substances are used that make them wrong...and opiates are lifesavers for people who NEED them just like the other things you mentioned.

Besides that..I also do not believe in legislating my personal beliefs about recreational drug use into laws about what people can do or not as long as they aren't hurting others.

Bet ya never saw that coming from me did ya..😉

Thank goodness we have Heupel.

Butch was always conservative when ever we had the lead.

That TAMU 4+ hour lets play more FB decision to not go for 2 was my like "you aint the guy". Brutal day and I was there in the heat, just as a fan, and cannot imagine what the players were going though.

100%

Definitely not in the "weed is 100% physically harmless" crowd. That is like the "wine is good for you" crowd. Brainwashed by somebody...or just willfully ignorant.

More and more I feel like everything is trade offs and that we’ve lost sight of it in a world that demands nice, clean, black-and-white answers. Like everything, it’s complicated.

Thanks for this. Seriously tempted to upgrade after ~5 years. Have a 55" but it was early-era smart/roku tv and now some apps are slow as heck. Also thinking 75" would be real nice on gameday.

Always get this urge right before gameday 😂

Now...which type is best? Think I read OLED is pretty dang good. How does it compare vs "super amoled"?

Is there any use in 8k right now? Last I heard there's close to no content yet.

OLED is best, Sony or Samsung. Better in dark rooms. 8k TVs are available but still very expensive.

Super Amoled was just a Samsung name for Smart phone screens (they also make screens for iphone).

I think anything 8K forward, (UHDTV), is considered OLED.

OLED is window dressing as most TV or content is filmed in 1080P or thereabouts.
