It's really hard to see us losing this. We'll have to play like we did at Pitt. Like completely forget how to run our offense, drop passes, get a ton of penalties, muff a punt...

Even then, there is a big difference. Pitt plays a very very unique offense and somewhat "contained" us both games.. (relative to how elite we are), but a defensive style we'lll never ever see again.

Meanwhile UK gave up 45 to us last year and has no answer for us. And our offense is better, maybe much better.

Oh and our rush game and OL has SKYROCKETED since that game. I was actually worried about both through the first 3 games. Then the UF game came and we absolutely flipped the switch in a crazy way. I remember preseason the people "behind the scenes" being worried about our OL, at least in the rushing attack. And they were 100% correct the way we started. But we suddenly gelled and have wrecked things since. HH running has played a big part too, but our OL is legit just pushing people. It was nuts to see our RBs vs Bama, even when it looked like there was nothing, suddenly we're 5 yards upfield. The same beautiful (and very frustrating as the opponent) stuff he used to do at Mizzou with nothing but 3 stars.

Was Golesh with Heup at Mizzou? Also, listening to Finebaum interview Herbstreit. He said Heup learned this offense from Art Briles. True?

A lot of the same principles are from Art Briles. It’s nothing really new and has been successful for 20 yrs. Heupel at Tennessee has the opportunity to really take this to another level with the level of athletes Tennessee can recruit.

My brother has Alzheimer’s. He was diagnosed at age 52. That is not a typo. 52. If to say it has worried me that I might get diagnosed is an understatement. He just turned 57 and I’m 52. In 5 years it has devastated his short term memory, lost his job and now on disability. Just a terrible disease that is heartbreaking watching their downward spiral. Words can’t explain.

Man, I'm so sorry. As most on here know my mom was diagnosed with Alzheimer's at about 70. She passed a couple of years ago after about a 9 year battle. I'll be thinking of you and your family. God bless you and yours.

Here in Destin/Miramar Beach, I’ve received more “Go Vols!” this week alone than I’ve received in other years coming here. I’ve had lots of other college football fans saying “congrats” as well. Enjoying this ride!

When hubby and I were at Harrah’s Casino on Monday, I had a gentlemen pass me and say, “Man, nerve racking game but an exciting game..Glad you all won..I’m a Clemson fan but I was rooting for you guys.” The whole world hates Bama except for Bama..We did the world a favor!!

CJH is so good at making subtle tweaks constantly and calling the right play at the right time. His situational is what really sets him about from others.

Gif reminds me I saw that film in a packed theater opening night. People were roaring with laughter making it hard to hear sometimes. During that scene, while he’s about to drink the poop sample, people are losing their mind laughing but a guy behind me says to his buddies,”You guys I can’t handle this.”

More laughter at the scene.

“Seriously guys, if he drinks that I’m gonna be sick.”

Austin Powers holds it up to his face then pauses. More laughter.

“Guys this is stupid and NOT funny to me I’ll puke.”

Powers drinks it and this guy dry heaves and runs out of the theater gagging. Never to return. I shouldn’t have laughed.

I respect that he is able to recognize that and admit to what happened. Most coaches would avoid talking about it or work just as hard on an excuse to justify their screw-up.
