I’ve never even heard of this Brandon Walker dude before, but after hearing him for 1 minute I’ll let him fade back out of my mind because he is absolute nails on the chalkboard to listen to. He should take some notes from Josh Pate, but I can already tell he won’t listen to them because that’s not the style of show and analysis he’s going for. He wants the shock jock sound bites even though, you know, he’s not even good at it really.

That’s why I listen to only Josh Pate for all around college football. Pure analysis. No hot takes or biases. Just fair insights

Did I just hear that a one loss OSU team would get the nod over UT?!?!
You heard a lot of clown talk in that segment such as a 1 loss OSU and Michigan would get in over TN followed by the king clown 'Bear' downplaying the Alabama win saying it was only because Alabama made so many mistakes and a 'questionable' PI call. I was actually surprised the rest of the crew pointed out that TN also made mistakes and it wasn't busted coverages they just got beat to get him to begrudgingly admit "Both teams played well"

Just me or College Gameday throwing an unexpectedly high amount of shade at us after last weekend? Have heard that final PI call called “terrible” multiple times, dismissing our ability to get to the playoffs, etc
Bear needs to be replaced. He misrepresented someone record earlier. Then he names teams that would be picked over Tennessee because of "winning out" that play each other.

Risk vs. reward. No sense risking Tillman when another week to work his way back would be beneficial, and sitting Tank another week allows more time to continue working to get the felony charge reduced. The UT investigation considered all sides of the story, which the police investigation did not, and the decision to not suspend and the fast clearance by the Student Conduct Board shows that the university does not feel the facts support the charge. If legal strategies do not result in movement, UT could decide sitting him 2-3 weeks is sufficient-- not something UT normally does, but the lack of suspension isn't SOP, either.

I guess I’m in the minority but I didn’t take that segment as them being anti-TN. Their main point was that the Alabama game was a big win, but it doesn’t really matter if we still lose to Georgia. They were discussing realistic shots at the CFP and I have to agree with them that we have to win out to realistically have a chance unless other conference undefeated start to collapse.

So dumb. If a 1 loss OSU and 1 loss Mich both existed, that most likely means neither of them win the conference, or one of them lost to a team they shouldn’t have before the conference championship and then won. Maybe Penn State beats OSU and they call that a “good loss” but it’s really not.

Tennessees resume would blow both of them out of the water. Ohio State will play what, 2 ranked teams all year? Maybe 3? Same with Michigan? If they lost one of those games and UT had FIVE ranked wins including against a top 3 team and a loss to say undefeated UGA… idk how you can logically put either OSU or MICH with 1 loss ahead of UT with 1 loss.

Let’s take the decision out of their hands and just go undefeated though 🤷🏻‍♂️

Everytime I see the replay I just can’t understand how ppl call it terrible. The DB had him fully wrapped up. Ppl are just having a hard time admitting we are good. It bothers a lot of folks. I really think that’s what it all comes down to.

Realistically, win out or lose to UGA and UGA wins the seccg, Vols are likely in.
Sec champ
Ohio state or Michigan
Clemson
Tennessee or UCLA or tcu. But those other teams lose one, Tennessee is in front imo.

Would a 12-1 Pac 12 Champ get in over 11-1 Tennessee/Georgia?

1. Tennessee/Georgia 13-0
2. Ohio St/Michigan 13-0
3. Clemson 13-0
4. PAC 12 Champ 12-1 or Tennessee/Georgia 11-1?

I noticed the same thing. Kirk mentioned the “controversial” PI on us but failed to mention the b******* call when they tackled our DB on 3rd and goal at the 16

Great to be on the other side and just shake it off and smile though

6-0

That's just that fat marble mouth Bear who picks games like a blind schoolgirl. Don't understand how he is on television.

The conversation always goes like this:

“Terrible PI call on the interception.”

“No, he grabbed Fant by the waist and pulled him down, which directly led to the interception.”

“You’re blind.”

“Here’s a picture.”

“Ok, but they never call that.”

“No, they never call it against Alabama.”
