You're allowed to be mean to family because they have to forgive you.Actually, I would like to see the Tennessee players helping the UTM players up after every play. Being the ultimate good sports. After all, it’s like playing your little cousin. You still want to win, but you don’t want to be mean to them…
Maybe he could stutter his way through saying what it took for Bama to even be in the game: missing starters in the defensive backfield, a bungled QB-RB exchange, a ridiculous DPI that was clearly OPI. I mean we could play this game all day.Dude just stuttered his way through saying what it took Bama to lose “17 penalties, muffed punt, ridiculous pass interference call, mismanaged clock”
So many excuses
That's not it. Nobody else has played the schedule we've played this year. We've got 4 top 25 wins and that is unmatched by any other team. I don't think another school is playing 2 legit top 3 teams, in season, this year either. We're the #1 seed and should be respected, because UT has earned it. This doesn't need to be like the 1997 Heisman award, media biased and media driven away from UT.Bunch of “Little Man Syndrome” in this thread today…looking for reasons to feel offended or slighted.
Game Day is simply stating facts. A 1-loss TN is down the pecking order from some of these other schools. But there is still definitely a path should we stumble.
Instead of looking for reasons to be ticked, I’m just enjoying the fact that we are all over College Game Day. What a year we are having!
They pick them to make money though. Bear doesn't. So upsets are amongst the picks to makxomize money.
I'm in Florida so I cant bet but I'm about 70% when I enter Tennessee. Lol. I do about 10 bets a trip in individual bets. Parlays are 0fer by one every time.Experts are trying to maximize money, of course, and they may find upsets they like but going ham on Moneyline upsets are how you lose money in betting. It’s more about finding which lines they see the most value and juice in. Betting that team x is going to cover against team y because you think the line is too high is a safer and more logical bet than betting that you think team x is going to straight up upset team y. So unless experts just absolutely love the matchup and upset potential they aren’t betting as many upset Moneyline as common bettors, in my opinion. This is what a bear does as well.
Again, I don’t like the guy, there’s much better bettors out there, but he’s also better than the common bettor. I don’t even want to know what my average is
Absolutely correct here. If our only loss is to an undefeated #1 defending champ Georgia, while having around 6 ranked wins, then yeah, we’re in the conversation.I agree on the peeps looking for a reason to feel offended.
I do not agree that a 1-loss UT is very far down a list at all tho (not watching Gameday so missed the convo). Obv all that depends on how things shake out. Best resumé in the country and it’s not close.

None of it matters. To quote CJH, "it's all about us and what we do". We win, we stay in. We lose... Whatever... This has still been fun as hell, and I'll enjoy whatever we get for the post season.Just me or College Gameday throwing an unexpectedly high amount of shade at us after last weekend? Have heard that final PI call called “terrible” multiple times, dismissing our ability to get to the playoffs, etc
Not at all upset with a loss. Upset the media desperately wants us to not be in the conversation with a loss but will uplift every other team as usual. Hopefully the team takes this as a challenge to prove them wrong every week. And honestly, we shouldn’t be upset at all with a loss. House money, no one expected anything NEARLY like this!
They scared. Just like with Peyton's hypesman theft. They're trying to keep the Vols down. Won't work imo.Just me or College Gameday throwing an unexpectedly high amount of shade at us after last weekend?
