Offensive tackles…defensive backs…linebackers…what else is on our transfer portal list that can contribute next year?

Wow. You really will have to save some scholarships for the portal because you might lose 3 or more just for one position, and you won’t know until it is done. These coaches are really going to be earning that money! They need definite rules for when you can enter the portal and a narrow window to do so, or we may end up with a lot of places unable to field a team.

Looking at Tennessee's total defense vs. our rushing defense and red zone defense.

I love the bend don't break approach. It invites the other QB to think they're hot and play our game. It provides opportunities for the defense when the opposing offense thinks they're rolling and hitting their stride.

Perfect approach for the roster we have too. Just love everything about this team and staff. I'm really excited to watch us again tomorrow

The upside is, as far as I understand it, because of the new rule (for 2 years) there's no 25-cap and your only limit is the 85...

You gain a spot for a new man

It works itself out in real time. But I also expect that means guys like Saban will run a bunch of guys off...


I agree with transfer windows. Don't have time to look it up, but I almost thought they did pass that this offseason? Or maybe not, but it was at least proposed iirc

Off the wall theory possibly, but if the SEC truly is corrupt with officiating, Tennessee will see some Very favorable calls for the remainder of the regular season.
It’s almost a given the SEC will get two teams in the playoffs. Tennessee,Georgia and Alabama leading the field. I think if the SEC truly does sway officiating, Tennessee will get some very good calls. Noted, in regular season. SECCG all bets are off.

Random sidenote...but is the new rule against fake injuries working? I know it's merely a threat of sorts...but I do wonder if AD White put out a sharp message that we would file every claim possible and do everything to go after fakers.

I honestly can't remember any absurd fakers so far this year...finally folks are afraid of us throwing our weight again. #FeelsGoodMan
