I watched the game. Key was electric, but the best player on the court was Uros Plavsic tonight and I’m not kidding. He played an amazing game. Phillips headed up in the 2nd half after sitting mostly the entire first half with 2 fouls. We are flush with talent.

That makes me even more excited.

If we can get our big men to dominate the paint - I know our guards can handle the rest. We've been lacking a truly dominating post presence since Grant left. Not that we haven't had great players (Kyle Alexander, Fulky, Pons [? - guess you can count him], and the revolving door we had last year).

But if Uros, Aidoo, ONK, Awaka etc can step up and have a 1st or 2nd team SEC season? Watch out.

Any advice from any of my fellow vol fans, I’m in Japan on my dream trip for 2 weeks and I’m going to miss the Kentucky and Georgia game unless I can find a place to steam/go watch. I though I could use YouTube tv with a VPN but I was incorrect. Any advice? The Kentucky game will be at 8am on Sunday for me. Thanks for any help and go big orange!!

It was Bobby Bowden & Tom Osborne’s decade with a taste of Spurrier, Fulmer and Erickson. FSU and Nebraska being the main attractions. Love going back and watching those 90’s games

Now watching the 2000 Sooners-Cornroiders game...CFB was sooo fun back then, there were so many programs all over the country that could put together great squads.

I hate what the follower age has brought, a bunch of gutless kids that all piled up in 4-5 spots...it has nearly ruined CFB.

In 2000 alone you had great Nebraska, Oklahoma. FSU, Miami, Washington, K-State, Virginia Tech, Oregon State and Oregon teams.

#21 Lady Vols soccer finished regular season #3 in the SEC. They have 4 losses all to currently ranked teams- #2 UNC, #3 Alabama, #11 Duke, and #14 South Carolina.

Will play Georgia Nov 1 at 3:30 ET in SEC Tournament quarterfinals.

Just finished watching “All Quiet on the Western Front” on Netflix after watching our BasketVols beat down the Zags. Pretty dang good night of entertainment.

The movie is REALLY good by the way. Would definitely recommend. It’s a German film but you can turn on subtitles or there is an option for English language.

BaseVols are Way Too Early Top 25 #2. LSU is currently ranked #1.

I know Track & Field is climbing. Swimming & Diving, Tennis, and Rowing are always winning stuff.

Would be nice if we had more sports.... maybe with all this success we'll be able to add a few more (foolish hope).

For Halloween season watched Barbarian. Afaik still at full price streaming (it may have come down to regular rental price since last weekend) but it's free on HBO Max.

Great movie. 90%+ on Rotten Tomatoes. Whatever you do, don't go into it anything but partially blind. Watch the trailer, at best, but don't do research. It will go a completely unexpected route every third of the movie. Excellent watch with a couple truly funny scenes as well.
