They are apparently willing to let him decide when and how is the time. I can only hope I receive the same treatment (certainly not)… but I understand loving what I do and not letting go until they make me… respect.

A fighter jet doesn't have to break the sound barrier to cause windows to shake. They typically don't break the sound barrier when flying over populated areas. It can cause too much of a disturbance, both physical and social.

A family friend of ours’ dad was Major General George Edwards. He was a VFL and served a distinguished career in the Air Force. He twice held the air speed record in the 50’s.

“The General” to me and my family, he told me a story about how he broke the sound barrier over San Francisco back in the 60’s. Supposedly the Air Force got sued because, in his own words: “some damn clumsy kid fell out of his high chair.”

He passed away just over a year ago. Larger than life man who always treated us to “Orange Heaven” at tailgates before games. He actually hosted the Lady Vols many times at their house in Austin and was friends with Pat. I sure wish he could’ve held on to see this year. He loved the Vols more than I could fathom. Here he is in his younger years:

Any advice from any of my fellow vol fans, I’m in Japan on my dream trip for 2 weeks and I’m going to miss the Kentucky and Georgia game unless I can find a place to steam/go watch. I though I could use YouTube tv with a VPN but I was incorrect. Any advice? The Kentucky game will be at 8am on Sunday for me. Thanks for any help and go big orange!!

My two cents: if it’s your dream trip don’t worry about trying to watch and just enjoy your trip. Been to Japan, would have stayed longer if I could. Hope it’s living up to the dream so far!

If you absolutely must watch though you should be able to at minimum watch the Georgia game on ParamountPlus using the VPN since it’s on CBS. I do it all the time for NFL. You may need to make a free account or do a free trial though. As for UK, idk. Maybe espn app will let you watch with a vpn and valid cable plan that has ESPN?
