Just my impression from the days when he was complaining that Heup had double crossed Bailey by starting Milton. I could be mistaken but I do believe the analogy was drawn.

Edit: Message board litigation takes time even if entertaining.

“Not giving him a chance.” I think most of those hinged on Bailey not being a dual threat…which would draw up the parallel of Peyton’s legendary foot speed. 😏

Edit: Probably my bad for digging it up and subject to interpretation. Not going to comb through all the posts from that time. I love McGill, just have to keep him on ignore for awhile longer.

So he was saying Bailey was a Peyton and Joe Montana clone? My interpretation doesn't see that.

He was suggesting the possibility. It's a high standard of comparison. Hyperbole is easily misinterpreted. I think there are more posts but am not going to look for them now. He could have said Andy Kelly didn't have a strong arm, but chose to put Baily in the Montana/Manning set or league as it were. To me this a suggestion of calibre. I think he has me on ignore too so I will just drop it unless he shows up as an intervenor and real party of interest.
