You're making it sound much more complicated than it is or would be. Of all the things an official has to "process" during a game, this isn't one.

Again, it's simple. The official doesn't have to "kill the play", that's your solution, but not necessary. Just let it play out, then if necessary "process" it. Just as they do with so many other calls...wr going out of bounds, some cases of a fumble.

You disagree with us and that's fine. As of now the AA agrees with you. But your rationale isn't very convincing.
My rationale is that the rule is good as is. One instance per decade (at least) of your not liking a consequence of a rule because it benefited a hated team is insufficient grounds for changing it. If that one instance had benefited Tennessee it wouldn't even cross your mind to invent insanely complicated ways to adjust how it's executed.

And no, it's not the same as a fumble where they just let it go. They're not letting it go because they have too many variables to process in order to call the play correctly. There is no rule like that. This one would be, and for no reason other than one time in history that any of us can remember someone benefited from it in a way that probably wasn't intended, and that someone was our rival. That's your primary "rationale" for wanting a change, whether you'll admit it or not.

Need some suggestions..

I have a chest congestion right now and can’t get rid of it..What is the best thing to take from personal experience??

It may be a few days until Doc sees this but I need results now.

TIA
Mucinex and a **** ton of water works for me like half the time. Might just be the water.

Can’t put a price on a team that trashed Hawaii. Consider myself blessed to get to see them play.
Here's what I miss about paper tickets.

I used to just buy the Vandy season tickets for the same price as the Tennessee game, keep the Tennessee ticket, and give the rest to @Weezer. He would write "for a good time call" on each ticket and tape them to bathroom stalls.

How many calls did you get, and did you ever give those poor slobs a good time?

We are gonna make the playoffs. Hooker is done messing around. And if they see Georgia again they are going to whoop they ass
Please please please let us make the playoffs and meet them again!!! If we do, Hook has to be a part of the running game a lot more.
