If we win out, we are in the playoffs. I am confident of that. After all, no story worth it’s weight has a positive upward trajectory throughout. You need a setback. Adversity makes the story better. The antagonist always gets their Pyrrhic victory before the fall. We will beat Georgia in the championship game. This is all coming together.

A 15-0 National Championship season with the Vols whipping everybody by fiddy would be worth its weight, IMO. I don't need adversity, and that would be the bestest story ever!

Our offensive line is gonna be out to prove a point after last week. I think they wreck Mizzou's defensive front.

The portal is going to be wild. I talked to a P5 coach last week. They are getting contacted by representative of players seeking to transfer to their school.
If a player has talent, but is not getting much playing time they are going to move. These are not marginal players. Players and their families are looking at depth charts and planning their moves carefully. This has been going on since week one.

This is going to play hell with continuity. A lot of players development will get retarded by this. It isn't as easy to move all over the place and pick up systems as they think it is.

Teams that do the best job of identifying the players that they can plug in to their systems and quickly get great results will be the biggest winners....teams that fail at this will be the graveyards of some talented kids careers.

I know Lang commits later today. I assume we're still considered the leader. You think we have a chance at Arion Carter? Seems like we finally have a visit set up. Numbers will be interesting. Depending on how we finish, we may not have many spots for portal guys. I'm curious who we encourage to leave.

Can someone tell me why Ohio State is so highly regarded outside of recruiting rankings? Their best win is a nailbiter over Notre Dame and they have two close calls back to back weeks. Michigan's schedule is laughable. For me, it should be 1. GA 2. TCU 3. TN 4. OHST 5. MI 6. LSU. I don't see what the backing is on any of the PAC schools either. Oregon has only beaten UCLA, who's best win was over 2 loss Utah, who beat USC. USC has played 1 decent team and lost to them.

Andy Staples had a staggering stat that 75% of the players in the portal fail to find a second home, effectively ending their college career.
