Camera work has been bad today. It was terrible in the Nebraska game no doubt. I can’t get Hawaii game but sounds like the same thing, several folks have said camera work has been bad in Hawaii game as well.I've only watched 2 game today (Nebraska and Vandy) and both have had terrible camera work. Reminds me of vol baseball!
YUP! And despite our s%#* storm of the past 10-15 years still fill a 100k stadium & have a huge Pantone 151 brand!I don't particularly. Maybe for a time but with the rise of Baylor, TCU, OK State and even Houston the talent in Texas has had options to stay close to home. There are also lots of SECW schools that are just as close or closer than Nebraska. They are one of the all-time programs that are a casualty of parity and conference realignment. I don’t see how they ever fully recover.
We are lucky to be in the SEC, have a great college town in a medium sized city and have a lot of good recruits within a reasonable driving distance. We also had a lot of exposure with high level NFL players even when our program was garbage.
We really overstate how badly Milton actually played bc of the missed deep balls. Other than the run out of bounds at Ole Miss and the deep ball yips, he managed the offense fine. I would rather have Hooker back there, knowing what we know now, but literally everyone thet watched camp said Milton was the clear cut best option, and he didn’t play that badly when the lights came on (again other than his deep ball issues)
Man, if I had a choice between MTSU or similar school and Hawaii. . . I'd have a tough time not choosing Hawaii.Hawaii should build their stadium and facility on the edge of a cliff overlooking the peninsula. Like Northwestern's facilities but on steroids, in paradise.
Just make yourself attractive enough to draw the guys that aren't quite P5 level.
People forget the almost perfect throw he made to nearly win the game. I think it was Tillman. . . he must've been gassed, only needed to jump a couple inches higher and we win that game.Milton's biggest problem was that our WRs hadn't yet clicked with the system. He got the blame for overthrows but a lot of that was the WRs not being where they were supposed to be. Even Hooker had a ton of overthrows. I honestly thought that we were in serious trouble at WR because absolutely no one had stepped up. That changed during (and mostly after) the Florida game. Our WRs stepped up.
Hooker is a very good QB but he also benefited from coming in when the WRs finally started to get it but before the WRs settled in, it simply did not matter who was playing QB. Milton having a case of the stupids during the OM game turned a lot of fans against him but honestly I understand why that caught him completely by surprise. It was poor luck for everyone.
