Well, to be fair, it was not me who said they were our "b!tch".... I said we were fairly equal... and I pointed out that right before that arbitrary cutoff we had won 9 .... which would make it 17-15 for that time frame forward.... which is basically equal to meBut how does picking a random 9-game winning streak from over 20 years ago, while they actually lead the all-time series, and have been 17-6 against us this century, make them historically "our bitch"? You can't complain about arbitrary cutoffs, while claiming an arbitrary 9-year run last century makes them "our bitch." That would require a showing of, I don't know, leading the all-time series? By a lot?
That's something we could say to Kentucky fans after losing to them in 2020: "yea, we lost, but historically, you're our bitch." Because they are. Georgia is not. There's just no basis for it.
Maybe if the claim was, "they were our bitch in the 90s," it would make sense. But not historically.
Really hope to see the old Tillman back this weekend to complement Bru and Hyatt who are killing it right now.Yeah I think if Tillman hadn't gotten hurt we would have seen more subbing.
1st wave Bru, Hyatt, Tillman
2nd wave Walker, Squirrel, Keyton
but they've not had that luxury and with how well Bru/Hyatt have played it's hard to take them off the field. Both are in great condition as well.
RB, OL, LB, and Secondary. If we have the room, I'd get a WR as well.
Kirby literally said "no layups, we are going to foul them every time"...and no calls.I think more than that. Our receivers and coaches know their game now. Georgia’s game plan was to basically hold on every play on our WRs and if they were going to let them go to get a PI.
Go back and watch the game. It was absolutely egregious how much holding Georgia did that was never called. It was literally every play.
Yes I know you can call holding on almost every play but what they were doing to our WRs and TEs was unacceptable and was never called.
That won’t be able to happen on a bigger stage and Georgia and everyone else know that. That’s why they don’t want to play us.
Oh I agree with you @Ulysees E. McGill I meant moreso externally. We still have to take care of business.Right now it is South Carolina...we can't just roll our helmets out there and expect to score a haf-a-hunnert on them.
I seriously doubt that happens...just saying we have to win and win big before anything anybody else does matters.
It was egregious and multiple on every literally freaking pass play. I have never seen a coach admit out loud that their strategy was to egregiously foul...and get away with it.I hope Heup sends that in to the officiating crew in order to prepare for the NC. They need to be looking for that. Don't let them get away with it and they'll be forced to stop.
I would have our receivers sell it. Fall down, flail your arms. Make them call it.It was egregious and multiple on every literally freaking pass play. I have never seen a coach admit out loud that their strategy was to egregiously foul...and get away with it.
One reason however was Hendon was not throwing it "at" the recievers getting held. I think he did not force the refs to make DPI calls by holding on to the ball. He didn't have to throw ints, he could have thrown it at their feet and it would have made what was going on obvious.
People never watch off the ball to see what is going on downfield in real time, it is very hard to...but it freaking jumped off the screen when slowing it down and focusing on what was happening downfield.
I know...I think the biggest and really the only threat to rip us off is the USC fighting Condoms.Oh I agree with you @Ulysees E. McGill I meant moreso externally. We still have to take care of business.
Someone (Alabama) must have sent in video of our under screens because every game since then the officials have tried to call one on us even if the ball was caught behind the line.I hope Heup sends that in to the officiating crew in order to prepare for the NC. They need to be looking for that. Don't let them get away with it and they'll be forced to stop.
