Does anyone else hate the way Ryan Day looks?

Idk why but his dyed beard REALLY bothers me.

I guess i'm preemptively hating him before our matchup with them in the semis

He Looks like a giant doosh factory!

Don’t forget about guys like Lampley and Davis at the guard spot. Lampley came in for Spraggins on a couple plays Saturday

Dayne Davis? Won't play guard.

I think we didn't see much of Nichols because they wanted to RS him this year. Lampley might be in the mix though.

I have never cheered for an SEC team to win anything. It’s my Vols or nothing. I’ve always wondered why my fellow Vol fans cheer for SEC teams in bowl games. I know you say “It makes our conference look strong” I could care less what our conference looks like. I just can’t process in my mind any circumstances to ever cheer for Alabama, Florida, Georgia, and all the others…
Because the SEC used to beat each other up while other teams played no one and cruised into the best bowl games. And as far as SEC teams went, Tennessee was not at the top of anyone’s list. In 1998 if we had 1 loss among 10 one loss teams we would have been 10. They would always say it was a down year in the SEC when Tennessee won. So it’s always to our advantage if the SEC is viewed as strong. Example is this year. We are in front of other one loss teams for the playoffs. Now when an expanded playoff comes it won’t matter as much.

I think more than that. Our receivers and coaches know their game now. Georgia’s game plan was to basically hold on every play on our WRs and if they were going to let them go to get a PI.

Go back and watch the game. It was absolutely egregious how much holding Georgia did that was never called. It was literally every play.

Yes I know you can call holding on almost every play but what they were doing to our WRs and TEs was unacceptable and was never called.

That won’t be able to happen on a bigger stage and Georgia and everyone else know that. That’s why they don’t want to play us.

It's a Muschamp special. He's been doing it for years at every SEC stop because he knows the refs won't call it repeatedly. They might call it once or even twice but not as often as they do it. He has spoken openly about it. And he even said that was the plan for our game.

LM is also a senior...if Walker steps up this spring he could earn a big spot....if he doesn't earn it, then that is on him. I want to see him play more...he has some spark.
He's a junior...class of 20. But I agree on your point. Could work if Merrill has the patience, but that's a rare commodity.

Did we really need this to tell us there was trouble in Kitty Land? They just lost to Vanderbilt. That's a damn good indication of trouble.
anyone check on the kitty kats this morning? losing to vandy in football and mich st last night in bball has to be a pretty rough time for them

100% accurate, used to drive me nuts watching the gator games knowing the DBs were literally holding every play. i played with Marcus Roberson who was a gator DB and he even said they were coached to grab, refs cant call it every play.

We murder 2021 Pitt had 2022 Joe Milton shown up.

Just rewatched the offensive plays from that on YouTube recently. 5 for sure overthrows with the one to Tillman up the seam where there’s not a defender within 5 yards on him the worst out of the bunch. One thing to remember with the long ball that game, or really the 1st Q I should say, is Milton did drop an absolute dime of a deep ball to Hyatt in the endzone which Hyatt dropped on like the 2nd or 3rd drive. Hyatt may have even hurt himself on that too if I remember correctly.

Also the drive at the beginning of the 2nd Q where Milton took off running for 60ish yards and got down at the 5 yard line and then we had 35 yards of penalties back to back to back was a sequence of nightmares. Woof.

I mean Muschamp straight up says that. He wants them PI'ing every play because it won't be called every play. I'm surprised that it's never come back on him. All it took was a comment from Pruitt ahead of TSIO about how it depended on the refs and a couple of PI calls and boom BAMA backed the hell off. No one keeps going for PI when officials show they will call it.
