AP mentioned an interesting delima about the transfer portal an TN. If (when) we make it to the playoffs the guys who want to transfer are going to have to make a hard decision. Ride with the team on the playoff run or bail and enter the portal. Don't think they are gonna want to wait until the late summer portal window.

Hard to imagine that guys who are actually seeing playing time will be the ones who want to transfer.

Is there not a transfer window/deadline? Are you telling me we can snag a transfer from a non-playoff team before our playoff run?

Are we really expecting a lot of transfers? My guess is Calloway, Campbell, maybe some OL and/or DL who are down the depth chart. After that, maybe some walk-ons that feel they can get a scholly elsewhere? It's just hard for me to imagine a bunch of transfers. Our players look like they enjoy playing for Heupel and this staff.

I looked back through the interviews where they were asked about who calls the plays and both Heup and Golesh avoided answering that question…. At least that I could find…

I think it’s a Bruce Arians and Byron Leftwich situation… it was Arians offense and Arians calling the plays…. He valued Leftwich as a coach and was building his rep in the coaching community.

All the interviews that I have seen…. Both coaches have avoided answering they question…. I think Heup calls the plays but he values Golesh very much as a coach on this staff.
