I'm not sure where in Straw Plains, but have a friend that lives on that side of Knoxville - that'd probably be my vote from that list. Close to everything and def can get more house for your $ than west or north Knoxville. I know you mentioned Knoxville vs Chattanooga earlier so not sure why you're looking further north, but Athens is a nice little community, right on I-75 so easy access to the two bigger cities. I don't know anything about their schools tho.

My wife and I looked at that area before we decided on Seymour. It has built up quite a bit, but still has some nice properties and is convenient to downtown. West Knoxville is a bit of a drive but 40 is pretty close by.

If this offense can fix their 2nd qrt issues then they could really put some hurting on teams.

Most of our second quarter issues were depth related…. We emptied our bench in the 2nd quarter for rest and our starters played pretty much all the 3rd and 4th quarter…. Better depth and it should improve some.

This is the absolute best time of the year. The anticipation of 12 weeks of football. There will be moments of great angst, but there will be more moments of great joy. I am optimistic, but old enough to know that I am probably too optimistic. And, I don't care. We are very, very close to Football time in Tennessee!! and it will be glorious.

If we go 8-4 we have lost to 2 of FL, LSU, and Pitt, or we’ve dropped a game to a KY or SC too.

losing to KY or SC would be embarrassing. We are far better than both. Adding rattler did not even SC up with us. That game was over after the first quarter last year

why should we lose to 2 of Pitt, Fl, and LSU? I could see LSU because they still have talent and it’s a home game for them. But this is year 1 and they were atrocious last year. This is Fl with a year 1 staff. And Pitt lost everyone who made them good last year.

have we improved? Do we really have a legit QB and coaching staff? Then we should not lose to 2 of those 3 games.

After we thrash Pitt, I envision a night game against Florida and the hounds being released. When we get that monkey off our back, we will elevate to another level. We may even upset Bama or Georgia and go 11-1.

8-4 is a good season and is a sign of progress I think. Would be very happy with that record

Everybody always talks about 2016, but honestly, 2015 is the year we should have gone to the playoff or at least won the east. We had double digit leads on Oklahoma, Arkansas and Florida. Lost them all. We were beating Bama in the fourth quarter. Lost. If that team could have finished 2-3 of those games whew

I am of the same mind as you on 2015. That team could have played any team in the Top 10 and beaten them that year.

After we thrash Pitt, I envision a night game against Florida and the hounds being released. When we get that monkey off our back, we will elevate to another level. This is where I am too. Looking forward to a fun season, and I hope to remember the ‘22 team as one of the all-time Tennessee teams. If that doesn’t happen, I will still enjoy another season of Vols football.

Lord yes, my youngest is a senior in high school.

Told one of my long time patients that my son is in college and my daughter is a senior. She has been my patient since before I had children
She told me that wasn’t possible and we both started laughing . Then I told her that I turn 60 in October. We both quit laughing when we realized that she has been my patient since I was in my late 30s. That sounds like a long time. Some days it seems like forever and others like a blink of my eyes.
