Yes I was hurt more from the UGA loss, once I saw how they stopped our offense I just knew another team would slow it down, I never anticipated the defense lay down.

Not saying that's what was up, but he clearly was not hisself. Compound that with the social media comments he has made towards rival fans lately, maybe he's one of those that lets conflict consume him.

Probably, seems to be the kid that always followed the rules and never had many confrontations based on his morals and how he was raised. Maybe hasn’t had the past experience to get past confrontation as quickly as others

I’ve been defending Tim Banks all season. And the numbers, besides pass D, backed that up. Really had a good bend, don’t break scheme going which I thought was great with the personnel we have.

Then last night happened. Having trouble with that one.

When the YPP and PPG don't match up and you're only living off of turnovers and redzone D...it will have a Led Zeppelin game eventually. It finally happened. And yet I wouldn't trade it for the world the first 10 games.

Part of the reason we are here at 9-2 is because of the defense. Not going to forget that after 1 poor performance.

To be fair, I've been anti Tim Banks since last year.

Not his biggest fan either, he's the only hire I was curious over and still am.

But given the entire season in its totality...the benefits of continuity...trusting Heupel...let's ride as long as CJH wants to for now.

But I could see a change by end of Y3 or Y4. If so, so be it. If we improve defensively and it works out, even better. All I know is 2 years is premature when you still improved the defense year-over-year. Keep progressing and no one can blame you.

Maybe. It could go any number of ways, and there are games left to win and lose.

Here's the reality-- the SEC helps decide bowl placement for member programs. It isn't a pure ranking process-- they look at geography, matchups and preferences. Sometimes, it comes down to which teams the conferences want where. Sankey will want the SEC's best-playing teams put in the best position to win to elevate conference standings. If Team A isn't playing as well as Team B at this point in the season and if Team A has injuries to key players while Team B is full-go, that can have an impact. Or not.

I get that but putting a team with one more loss than the others in a ny6 bowl wouldn't be a good look and Tennessee should be placed with bama in those. We will see what happens but gotta beat Vandy first.

Yes it’s so crazy (insert opposing QB here) had the best game of his life week after week after week. At some point it’s our bum defensive coordinator and DBacks coach

I’m not going to believe the locker room stuff until a beat writer or someone clearly explains exactly what happened. Of course, that stuff usually isn’t fully explained until there’s a coaching change so I’m hopeful I don’t have to hear about it for another 10+ years.

I want to know why when we go really fast we score and look in sync, but for some reason huepel wants to continue to run this slow ball, barely get the ball snapped in time offense. Everytime we do that the offense looks out of sync ( false starts/delay of game/offensive mesh) and seems like we always have to punt it.
