I'm not going off of stats. I am going by what I saw.

Yes..we got occasional pressure, but we did not get consistent heavy pressure. There were way too many stalemates at the LoS.

I will say that Banks made it really easy on their blockers by not causing any confusion whatsoever with blitzing...which I think was a wise move considering the opponent next week.
we blitz two versus Pitt or esp Florida and we will pay. Gotta get to the QB.

For those of you who directed me (and other GA residents) to Bovada, thanks!

I got a 50% deposit bonus, so I used that on the first quarter spread and made about $0.88 for each dollar I bet! I've never done anything like that before, so I'm waiting on the feds to show up at more door and haul me off to jail!

Great game last night. As for Pitt, I'm not sure where I am on this spectrum, but I'm somewhere between "Holy sh!t their defense looked nasty" and "WVU scored 38 on them".

Re watched highlights. Is TJ really that far down the list at QB? That's surprising.

Also, really no push at all on DL, did see we would have had a nice sack had Balls Tate not held during their TD.

Positives, Keyton and Hyatt have come along nicely. Oline played well. RB's looks good. Secondary is better than I thought.

But I think that defense will be a liability.

You mean, 3rd?

didnt they play more?
small 13 carries
wright 13 carries
sampson 10 carries

Small just lacks the explosiveness required for SEC, and I wasn't overly satisfied with Wright/ Sampson either. It's the weakest room on offense imo.

Sampson/ Wright are solid change of pace backs but we need a bell cow and I don't think any of those 3 are that guy.

I thought Sampson and Wright both looked better than Small.

I think they are both better natural runners. Small does a lot of the other things better (pass protection being a major one). But Wright (so) and Sampson (fr) are very impressive RBs imo, especially with how early in their careers they are just hope they can stay healthy and continue to improve cause by his Junior season Sampson could be a guy pushing to break some TN rushing records.

Yeah, I was just being funny. I heard on Basilio's post game show them discussing that first quarter line (it was -10 on Bovada), and they were saying it was an intentional sucker bet by the casino to get people overconfident. I would have naturally been a little skittish about trying to pick other bets, and that just reinforced it. But if any of you morans think you've got any damn-near can't miss lines, throw 'em out there!

Moore has been under Heupel for 3 yrs now. He doesn't have the tools of Jackson but he probably has the best grasp of the offense and knows exactly what Heup wants.

As long as Small is considerably better at pass pro he's going to play most of the game

How is TJ a true freshmen QB being 3rd on the depth chart behind 2 seniors who have started here surprising?
It isnt. What is surprising is that up by fitty, we play GM and NS, a walk on/transfer.

Again, full clarity I turned game off in mid third quarter - im going off highlights and stat sheet.

Hopefully we can play up more in the secondary to prevent the quick releases. We were giving them too many 6, 8 yard chucks in the passing game last night. Maybe we're not wanting to show too much (hope that is it).

Is it just me or did Keyton look significantly bigger out there? I had admittedly written him off but he's suddenly looking like a big physically imposing WR.
