I have a research question for you ladies and genteel men. How much interest would you have in a podcast that is UT sports focused but also features local high school, regional schools and a few national sports interests? I know that there are tons of podcasts out there and there are some good VOL related casts as well. I have some connections that could lead to interesting guests and experiences that I believe would offer some interesting insight. All opinions welcome. Thanks in advance for your answers.

I don’t like James Caan or his wife’s character for some reason. And the story is just… too goofy. But so many good lines. And Will Ferrell nails it. Like I said, it’s an odd opinion for me I know.

That’s pretty easy to answer although I do agree that it’s BS….. both awards are based on opinions and it’s different groups of people voting for the separate awards.

I go back and forth on A Christmas Story. It’s almost too beloved and so I never want or choose to watch it but when it’s on, I seem to enjoy it.

I gravitate to whatever sport is on. Even Cowboys, Redskins, or Lions NFC matchups, which I almost always change.

My husband and son would like this. I don't really follow local high school sports other than cheering for Farragut when I occasionally go to a game. If the podcast focused on recruits that Tennessee was pursuing, I would have more interest.

If true, it really changes my perception of Deion. Underneath all that glitz and glam is a pretty solid dude. Feel sorry for the kids he left behind tho.

I dont buy it. For a guy to go around calling himself Prime, that's all you need to know. I'm sure there are plenty of people that have been helped by him over the years, but Deion is all about Deion at the end of the day. This move was about him and not the things JSU wasn't doing.

I think the main problem with postseason awards is letting media members vote. I would have much more respect for the ones voted on by coaches.

Klaus is an amazing animated movie....it hits you in the feels a couple of times too.

We came across Klaus a couple of years ago and loved it. It is a must watch Christmas movie in our house now.

Also, Arthur's Christmas is another winner on the animated Christmas movie list. The concept of Santa being a generational mantle passed from father to son through the years is great. Plus GrandSanta is hilarious!

My 2 cents, if you're going to do a podcast then do it based on what you want to do it on. Trying to cater it before you ever start to what you THINK people will want to listen to is just setting you up for failure. You'll burn out because you'll be chasing the listeners and not just sitting down and doing what you enjoy to begin with.

If you're having fun and making a quality product the listeners will find it.
