NR preseason to now at 6 after the regular season. Amazing turnaround.

Since you have good insight into the workings of the program. Do you know what the expectations are for the football program in the ADs eyes? Like does White view it as still building or is he full throttle ahead with all the facilities and catching up to rivals in that department. Or is it alittle of both?

It’s pretty crazy. But hopefully we can start a 10+ win season streak

The 2023 class average rating is almost 91.00 which is pretty good territory to be in. Previously the highest ever was 90.46 in 2019 class. Starting showing consistency and Tennessee should be regulars in the top 10

UT is in full-on win championships mode. DW meets with the HCs and asks them what they need to win championships. They tell him, and he goes to work making it happen. UT is already invested in master plan upgrades, facility renos and providing the resources programs need to win now. Capital improvements take a while because they have so many moving parts and involve third-party input that can bog down the process, But the needs of every marquee sport are being addressed, and the coaches are on board. Women's sports need to get back on track, but football, MBB and baseball are in good shape-- and in good hands.

No, have watched it multiple times...he was running down the seam and Milton threw it way too far to the inside.

Watch it again. Fant wasn't running full speed. He actually sped up just to get a hand on the ball. Maybe Fant was being cautious playing in the rain. Either way, he clearly wasn't running full speed.

One angle we have at this point is we don't have any proven talent in the secondary...so when we approach a guy like Tony Grimes from North Carolina and say "do you wanna come play for one of the biggest brands in football on the biggest stage and get noticed by the NFL?" we're not lying about any of it. Now will he be given a starting spot without any work, no. But will he have the ability to win a starting spot? absolutely and we can point to our previous 4 transfers in the secondary that all have earned starts.

That's the DB I was thinking about us getting. It would be great to get a couple of DB's that are proven. By that I mean has played a lot and proven to be good.

A bunch of players are wanting to move around the country. I never realized that there are that many dissatisfied players around. Maybe the new High School kids should take notice and realize that some coaches will promise them playing time to get them to commit but in reality they are promising them a "try out" for playing time, BIG difference.

If those two TEs happened to be Morlock and Bell I would be ecstatic. Not getting my hopes up on Bell though.
