What?

Hooker at VA Tech
63.1% 2894 passing yards, 22 TDs to 7 INTs and a 159.8 QB Rating, with 1033 rushing yards and 15 TDs

Hartman in 5 seasons
59% 12687 passing yards, 107 TDs to 40 INTs and a 144.8 QB rating, with 841 rushing yards and 17 TDs

Hartman I'd only want him here to have an experienced backup for Joe...and even then he's not my first pick. He's a lot smaller QB than Hooker, Tayven, Milton, or even Nico at just 6'1" but he has played a ton of snaps and helped Wake Forest win 11 games last year so no doubting his ability to compete.
Ok...then we will call their ACC production..."Similiar"....either way the point stands...Heupel could probably get great numbers out of Hartman

You should have heard me gush about Dooley after that opening game against NC State in Year 3.
It’s ridiculous how incompetent Tennessee was hiring so many failures and terrible candidates in a row for over a decade. Resume wise I guess Pruitt had the best post Fulmer resume going in? Then Butch or those two at the top however you’d want to put them. Dooley was totally a terrible resume. It’s just baffling to me Tennessee let it slip that Much to not hire better people.

Hyatt now will be talked about with the likes of former vols; Stanley Morgan, Willie Gault, Richmond Flowers, Joey Kent, and Larry Seviers just to name a few. What company he keeps! A Tennessee legend!!
I just hate that Ced didn't get the opportunity to really shine this year.

We chased the up in coming unknown as a HC resume just like other university.unfortunately we consistently struck fools gold while others struck gold…I remember everyone on the list and they were either fantasies or underwhelming.nobody wanted to come here because of how we were operating from top to bottom..

Someone on one of their forums. . . 247 I think

We let it slip at the administration level…. The coaching/AD hires were representative of what was going on at the University.

I almost feel like they dropped Hooker and elevated Bennett just to leave Hooker out. Bennett wasn’t even a finalist for ANY of the player or QB of the year award, yet he’s a finalist for what is supposed to be the most prestigious award??? I call bull. Seems rigged.

They had to leave Hooker out. Bring him in with the other 3 and his stats stand out enough to win outright.

The Heistman is essentially a commercial for the playoffs. They want players who are in the mix in order to draw eyes to future games.
