They were slippin right off them alligatorsUtah scheduling a game at The Swamp during the first week of September with no possible way to prepare for that humidity (anyone who’s lived or been out West will understand) will rank up there in history with Napoleon making his winter invasion of Russia.
Nashville Vols won’t like this, but I’m against it. Save it for a major bowl game. Neutral site games have ruined college football. I get it that it brings fans together for one game without the home and home commitment. I want to see more games at Neyland and the Vols playing marquee opponents on the road. That’s what makes college football so special.
Florida, Bama, Georgia, Pitt will all be top 15 teams when we play them. When’s the last time we have beaten a top 15 team? The national perception is that we have a lot of one score games on our schedule along with at least two sure losses. I think nationally, until we prove otherwise, all of these games are viewed as one score: Pitt, Florida, SC, Kentucky, LSU. The perception is we likely lose at least two of these, maybe more. I think they see us with only five "sure" wins max and some of them likely think Missouri will be close, too. I disagree with this perception and we start proving it this Saturday.

Our opponents look worse than expected. That's big. It's just as much about them as us.
