Please let this be true. Everyone in the secondary needs to be replaced.

Replace Hadden and Tank. Then I'm at 10 wins.
Not everyone. Doneiko Slaughter has potential. That kid can hit.

Plus if he were at one safety and John Slaughter the other, we could call the backfield the Slaughterhouse.

Tyson was not the kind of fighter that gives Ali trouble. Its a fundamental misunderstanding of Tyson to think hes anything like Frazier. Tyson was a midrange boxer and thats it. He didn't have the patience or mental discipline to fight inside like Frazier did.
In his prime, Tyson was all that and a bag of chips.

Mike Tyson vs Clubber Lang would have been a "Battle Royal"

Tyson (nor Ali) really had a prime. Young Tyson was a wrecking ball and the greatest practioner of peek-a-boo style that ever lived. But he wasn't no swamer, ever. And for whatever reason just wasn't very strong in the clinch. I never really understood it but he was overpowered by less imposing fighters when wrapped up. Ali was great in the clinch (though he often cheated). Depending on how the ref responds to Ali's antics, Ali either smothers and dominates him in the clinch, or just neutralizes Mike's rhythm.

No version of Tyson is landing devastating combos on a young dancing Ali. Hed have to catch Ali getting sloppy and get lucky. One punch power, Mike ain't any better than Frazier's hook.

I disagree. I think you're underestimating Tyson.

But that's okay. I still love you anyway.

Seriously, Cassius had uncanny instincts. It was unreal.

Agree.
One's prime was spent in prison, the other's prime was spent in banishment.

Also..........Tommy The Duke would have beat them both;)

K State just drew up an alley oop out of the timeout to take a 83-82 lead against No. 2 Kansas with 11.7 seconds left. Absolutely baller move.

*Former Gator that collapsed two years ago on the court was the dude that received said ‘oop.
Twas the ballsiest out of timeout play I've ever seen. And it was defended too. Took perfection to pull that off.

No way, Tyson is defined by his style and without it, he was a brawler with a good chin and knockout power in both hands. Ali was never knocked out and had no problems with mid range fighters. He had trouble with swarmers and dudes who could throw left hooks all night without getting tired

Big John Tate would have kicked all their asses.
Too Tall would have kicked Big John's A$$.
6-0 with 5 KOs:)

(Saw Too Tall fight once)

EDIT...............It's a joke. Too Tall was NOT any good.;)

What am I missing? The guy gets beat out by a pedestrian QB at Pedo St, who basically had him playing the Tebow role. Has one semi decent year then totally ***** the bed the next. Not to mention his weird eating habits, some of these NFL guys are idiots.
Meh, just that author’s guess of what the Colt’s might do. If anyone reaches that high for him, I will not be able to stop laughing.

I'd be interested in Ali's chin vs Tyson's power. Now...Ali had about 5 inches on Mike and 9" of reach, but was also outweighed by 10 lbs.

Ali once said he wasn't sure if he would have been able to take one of his knockout punches.

We'll never know but I truly think they could have fought 100 times and Mike would have decked him 50 times and Ali would've pummeled him into submission the other 50.

Tyson had knockout power in both hands against normal fighters, but as far as one punch power He wasn't Liston or Shavers. He threw the best combos Ive ever seen by a heavyweight and was really a swole up version of Floyd Patterson with a better chin. But he didn't have the chin guys like Ali, Frazier, Big George had. And his style was never going to lead to a long career. Patterson adapted after he lost the energy and agility to execute the peekaboo, but Tyson never did. Its a shame because his skillset and brains were good enough to remain great without Cus's style. He just didn't have his head right.
