It's both imo. Scheme doesn't help but the issue I have with scheme is that despite getting beat, the switch to man is rare. Situational changes don't really happen enough either. Hopefully next year is better. Are our secondary woes due to talent or coaching? In year 1 I would have said talent. At the end of year 2 I lean toward coaching. Sometimes we just looked totally lost back there, but I’m no X’s and O’s guru. Discuss.
Dude mentioned the 1930's in attempt to draw an offensive corollary to the Steroid era. They couldn't hit Koufax. Striking out is striking out no matter how much power.
Oh I rem quiet well having the debate last season with nunerous people around spring over the dbs being injured.I stated that it was most definitely a detriment to there success and most wanted to say "Wellll as long as they back for fall or ready for game 1 we be alright "!Hubbs believes it’s because so many DBs either didn’t practice in Spring or had to practice out of position. Some were playing out of their comfort zone leading to issues. If that’s the case, and with the influx of talent, I think we could see serious improvement this year. Even if that just makes us perform in the average range in 2023 it’s better than nearly last place.
