You read way too much into my comment…. I was just saying that teams actually scored more runs per game in the thirties.Dude mentioned the 1930's in attempt to draw an offensive corollary to the Steroid era.
Kids literally play year round from middle school on now. They hit non-stop. Those dudes, Kirk Caminiti, Barry Bonds, Mcgoon, Sosa, Bagwell were head and SHOULDERS above anything someone from that era. Imagine Ted Williams doped up, there would be murders.
