Which would you all choose for the Orange Bowl? Looking towards the future and all...

A) Milton goes 12-25 for 120 yards. Hits one big play, misses the rest. Sampson runs for 120. Other RBs average 5 ypc and OL cleans up in the run game. Defense balls out and holds Clemson to 20 points. UT wins 27-20.

B) Milton goes 22-30 for 330 yards. Hits multiple big shots. Runs for another 50 yards. Our running game via RBs struggles vs Clemson's big men. Klubnik goes off and embarrasses the defense that struggles all night. UT wins 44-37.
YES.

But I would prefer B. I’m used to defensive let downs.

I ventured over to the other "forum" to see what the thoughts were about Jalin's decision. For the most part, they were overwhelmingly positive (kind of a surprise, actually). And, then there were these gems.
I can't say that I disagree with a couple of those. They're not really critical of Hyatt. The playoffs have absolutely diminished the bowls, even the NY6. This is also not the same team that beat Bama.

I wish Hyatt and Tillman great success in the pros. It won't surprise me if they both make headlines. Hyatt will be drafted high just because of his speed. There aren't a lot of NFL safeties who can run at his speed. Tillman seems to be really good at catching the ball in traffic and catching back shoulder throws even when they are in the wrong place. Hopefully, Hooker heals and recovers quickly and gets a shot somewhere also.

I like this. As opposed to saying what I want to see…I’ll say what I think is most likely. That would be A.
Milton is just not a great qb. He’s ok. He doesn’t have great pocket awareness and isn’t an accurate passer. Worse still… he doesn’t have a great feel for the game. I.e. when to run, when to take a shot, when to choose a high percentage target understanding you just have to move the sticks sometimes.

But I think he gets us in the right play most of the time and does well with protections. And Heupel is just such a freaking bad ass coach we can beat a lot of teams with just average quarterback play to go along with great coaching and playcalling.

I’ll take…

The defense from option A + The offense from option B = Option C: Vols win 37-20.

@drvenner - See what you did??! This is why we never go to the FF. Now the RF has cooties, all thanks to your "curiosity".

I do not have cooties. I just had comments about the bowl opt out news. And got called out for them. So sorry that I’m somehow unworthy of participation here.

C) Milton lights up Clemson’s defense along with Sampson rushing for 100+. The defense exposes the new QB like we did Kentucky and Vandy to where we place so much doubt in the off-season to Clemson recruits and players, the portal and lack of signings leave them decimated to where they have walk-on tryouts to fill their one and two deep.

Radio guys here in Greenville (Marc Ryan) were saying Clemson’s culture is dying because they finally had a guy opt out for a bowl game. Believe it or not, that DL is the first ever to skip a game for Clemson.

But of an overreaction if you ask me, but I do think Dabo is bothered by it a lot more than he lets on.

I'll probably hear from the forum police for this, but we need an impact LB from the portal for next season. Single biggest need IMO. You don't want to rush the young guys before they're ready. If we could find someone in the portal to step into Banks role next season, that would be ideal.
When you preface your remarks the way you did, it seems to me that you are trying to stir the pot more than the folks who you claim question your fandom because you post unfavorable opinions. JMO.
