I'll give it 2 weeks for his auburn commitment.

Not trying to call you out specifically but maybe this is a good point to reflect about having too high of an expectation for college kids. The expectations (from the fans) for football players and coaches to be perfect is out of control. I can understand expecting better from the professional teams, but reality is that this is part of the sport and always has been.

I’ve seen so much better from college players.

From what I can tell here are the current lowest ticket prices for next season:
1. $249 - vs Georgia
2. $226 - at Alabama
3. $216 - at Florida
4. $196 - at Kentucky
5. $161 - vs Virginia* (Nashville)

Looks like we're circled on a lot of schedules.

All that said, I don't see us losing to Virginia or Kentucky. The Swamp is never an easy out. Bama and Georgia are major obstacles. Considering what we're losing, I'd be very happy with 9-3 this year. I think anything less than 8-4 would be a major disappointment. More than 9 wins would be something special and mean we are really back.

Did we just kick the tires and bail like we did with the OL from RI or was our pursuit serious? If it's the former.....not the ladder....kadoos to Heupel for yet another great eval. Gotta believe that any kid who gets a committable offer from this staff is just as solid off the field as on. Might be giving Heupel too much credit here, but I prefer to believe in this instance.

He stepped down as chairman at Amazon, so he’s still printing money…just not at the previous level. Regardless, it’s been said billionaires don’t use their own money in these deals. The Washington Post was always an asset…not any passion for the man. He loves the spotlight and club professional franchise ownership places you.
