I don’t think it’s wrong for him to take a few visits before committing to his next school. You’ve got UT, who he almost committed to in HS. UCLA, who’s got a lot of excitement getting Dante Moore at QB this cycle and it’s in sunny LA. And OSU who’s consistently in the CFP. I think that’s pretty fairI’m probably solo in my opinion, but I really don’t want the mercenaries.
Same for nolen.
The money chasers are not worth it. Betting they are decisive in the locker room and just not worth it. I want players who are going to become VFLs. Not rental players like pruitt went after…
David Igbinosun has not committed to UT yet.
Tennessee head coach Josh Heupel and staff members were in New Jersey earlier in the week to see the Ole Miss transfer. Things went well and he sees an opportunity to play early in Knoxville. He has had big picture talks with Tennessee which is why he is in the UTK student directory. With all that said, he has yet to pull the trigger privately or publicly.
He is headed to UCLA for a two day trip then to Ohio State. He may even visit Michigan as well. This feels like UCLA and Tennessee to us but with Igbinosun, nothing will surprise us. He is a very smart kid who is a big thinker on decisions and so nothing is simple in how he views things. He keeps talking to Tim Banks and Willie Martinez which is a great sign but he isn’t in the boat for some reason. Is he trying to find something better? Is he seeing what NIL opportunities are out there at each school? We expect him to land somewhere by Monday or Tuesday of next week.

Parents love the staffKamarion Franklin is bringing his mom and family this weekend.
“I really just need to see how much of a priority I am for the coaches and the program,” Franklin said on this. “How are the coaches going to treat my mom, who is coming with me, and me, and my family basically? Then just see what everything is like again and have a good time.”

Baseball is definitely a mental sport especially on the mound or in the batters box. There's a guy I listen to now, Clint McGill, who talks a lot about the mental game for youth players. My worlds converged there from a long range shooting school I attended and youth baseball around the importance of breathing techniques. I focus on that a lot with my kids.Last year at a community fair, my son and I found a pitching game where they had a radar gun. You had to throw strikes at over 75 mph. I went first and was consistently in the mid 60s. I was always the batting practice coach/pitcher. My forte was ball placement not speed. I could put the ball in whichever part of the strike zone the batter needed to work on…
My son steps up and hasn’t thrown a baseball in 5 years. First pitch 85 mph. He won the prize. I had him throw a change up and a curveball. They came in at 76. With no batter, he hit the strike zone with all his pitches. Laughed and said he really was too mental as a pitcher. Couldn’t just focus on the pitch…
When is the last day he can show up for class? Sounds like he may not be enrolled anywhere which would cause him to miss spring ball wherever he goes. This is getter stranger and stranger.
I have again reached the apathy stage about the Lady Vols.I don't think they'd ever spend what it would take to get Staley. It's not in the UT DNA. They don't look to go big even with the bell cow that is the football program. They tend to look for the diamond in the rough. Unfortunately, they go through a lot of cubic zirconium before they find the diamond.
I could see Lawson. She checks all the boxes,
