Doesn’t get credit for Jackson, Taylor or George. He didn’t develop any of them. And can you please tell us what our pass defense has been ranked the past 2 years? Oh but the talent issue right?

So for the Martinez defenders who bring up talent, explain something to me. Explain how Akron, Ball State, Western Kentucky, Middle TN State and Bowling Green could possible have more talent in the secondary than us.

Oh and this list? He has been coaching for 30 years. If you think that’s somehow impressive then I don’t know what to tell you.

Facts don’t support your narrative. I responded in another thread how many guys Rodney Garner has put in the league and it’s not far off from Martinez. Who actually developed Theo Jackson? He did squat before this staff.

I love how you also keep using volume stats…but I understand…because that fits into your argument.

No common sense.

Probably looking to visit stack. He was all over the place in HS, too. He'll be in class on Monday if he wants to play spring ball.

I’m probably solo in my opinion, but I really don’t want the mercenaries.
Same for nolen.
The money chasers are not worth it. Betting they are decisive in the locker room and just not worth it. I want players who are going to become VFLs. Not rental players like pruitt went after…

You know Willie Martinez? The guy who has put so many super stud DBs into the NFL? You know the guy who is so good that he has our pass defense as a top 25 unit these past 2 years. 😂😂😂😂

You seriously are responding to the OP this way after he destroyed your original take? Move the goalposts much?

Do you think they need a 40 yr old middle reliever with 2 years of eligibility who tops out at 59mph?

Last year at a community fair, my son and I found a pitching game where they had a radar gun. You had to throw strikes at over 75 mph. I went first and was consistently in the mid 60s. I was always the batting practice coach/pitcher. My forte was ball placement not speed. I could put the ball in whichever part of the strike zone the batter needed to work on…
My son steps up and hasn’t thrown a baseball in 5 years. First pitch 85 mph. He won the prize. I had him throw a change up and a curveball. They came in at 76. With no batter, he hit the strike zone with all his pitches. Laughed and said he really was too mental as a pitcher. Couldn’t just focus on the pitch…😎

Today in 1970........................

Terry Bradshaw from Louisiana Tech was the first pick in the NFL Draft by the Steelers!

If I had one game I had to win......he would be my QB choice.

Hacksaw Reynolds was the #22 pick by the Rams.............

While I loved Bradshaw as a kid if I needed to win a game I'd probably go with Montana.

She should do the right thing and step down. She has to be able to see that she’s not getting it done.
LV fans have always clamored for Summitt disciples and they've gotten their wish....twice. Look, and let's be honest, it's a hard "sport" to watch and the numbers show that not so many are, indeed, watching it. It's a money pit. Bleeds money. If they could support themselves, I wouldn't care what they did or who they hired, but until they are self supporting....and I don't ever see that happening....I see no reason UT should toss any more failure money at that program. Truth is that men's football and basketball support the rest of the sports and the cost of doing business in those sports is skyrocketing. Sorry, but women's basketball just needs to do the best they can with the very generous support they're already receiving.

Kamarion Franklin is bringing his mom and family this weekend.

“I really just need to see how much of a priority I am for the coaches and the program,” Franklin said on this. “How are the coaches going to treat my mom, who is coming with me, and me, and my family basically? Then just see what everything is like again and have a good time.”

If you're too proud to admit you said something really dumb, your best bet is to let this roll off the feed. What you're doing now is compounding the dumb. I mean, the dumb is building up to dangerous levels.

If this was Jurassic Park, this is the level of dumb that released the dinosaurs across the island.

If this was a disaster movie, dumb-pressure alarms would be screaming in the background.

If this were a James Bond movie, we'd be tied up in the middle of a pool, and killer-dumbs would be circling us...

...with frickin lasers on their head!
