Did McCafferey ever run it in college? I know Deebo did a lot. They must think Purdy has the yips but that he may yet work it out if he's as bad as everyone is saying.

Either one is better than throwing out a guy that can’t throw. As long as they’re both in the backfield that’s better than this IMO.

Very good win. Defense was not stellar in the second half. Texas is a great offensive team. That hook and hold let them back in it a little bit.

Overall, excellent season to this point. If we can shoot like this, or somewhat close to it, we are going to be a very tough out, for sure. Ready to be ranked #3!!

There was a stretch where he had Santi, Phillips & ON on the bench and Texas went on a run.

For some reason Aidoo, Key, and Uros just weren’t real effective against Texas. I think it was a game that ON, Santi, JJJ, & ZZ were just playing with more focus since they didn’t want to lose to Texas again and remembered losing in Texas last year.

Phillips was effective defensively but didn’t do much on offense. Unfortunately Rice for Texas just lit it up off the bench. Santi/ZZ were guarding Hunter & Carr and no one stepped up to deal with Rice.

Ted Hammond (DL) just committed on 1/25 to Michigan & Kentucky was recruiting him. My guess at least.

Otherwise I’d guess AJ Barner TE transfer from Indiana, but he committed 12/20 so seems more likely it was Ted.

He doesn't get that the SEC brand won't sell a kid on a school like UK against any brand name school. It will win them battles against Louisville but not Michigan or Tennessee. That's just the way it is. Known football schools that have a history, have big stadiums, big fanbases and an enormous support staff and even when they haven't done much all that infrastructure, money, knowledge, and know how is still present.
