Better Call Saul or Breaking Bad?

Both are great, but I was legitimately almost sad when I finished Better Call Saul. Breaking Bad had some iconic moments, but if I'm being honest, Jesse Pinkmans character grates on you after a while.

Not sure there is a wrong answer to the question though. I used to think no show would ever top Sopranos in my opinion... but surprisingly both did.

Who says you are judged by how you do in March? Don't think I've heard that anywhere but here. At least not from anyone creditable. Oh, they may remember the run you had, but not necessarily that you were a great team.

In the last 5 yeas or Loyola-Chicago, SC, and Syracuse have all made the FF. I don't remember hearing anyone talk about how great those teams were.
Everyone knows and says that….. without looking….. tell me what each of the teams you mentioned did during the regular season…. Nobody knows or truly cares but they remember their memorable runs to the final four…. It is the reason why Calipari is on the hot seat at Kentucky and why Barnes was fired at Texas…. Here are some articles about Barnes lack of tourney success.
Rick Barnes' loss shows no one blows it in March like Tennessee coach

Most of it's cost-driven. WBB used to be a revenue sport-- now it's not and hasn't been for some time. It's a vicious circle. Attendance is down, so UT raises ticket prices to compensate, which drives attendance down further and widens the loss. UT is one of the few SEC schools with no gymnastics program-- a very popular, high-profile women's sport that can draw big crowds but loses big money. Right now, UT is focused on growing what it has.
What makes gymnastics such a financial drain?

We have Covid in the house today. Me and 2 of my boys. Not as bad as last time but I can’t rest. And have explosive runs like a Hendo hurry-up offense.
I’ll tell you like Weezie even though he has a special place in my old decrepit heart. If you live close, do you guys need anything? He!!, if you don’t, I have the google machine. Just let me know. I mean it 😤, both of you.

I would argue that Barnes really wasn’t fired at Texas for his March performance. It was his regular seasons getting to March. I did a deep dive on his career this week while I was home for winter weather.

In his last 4 years, in 2012, they were an 11 seed. In 2013, they missed the NCAAT for the only time. In 2014, they were a 7 seed, won the first game and lost to the 2 seed. In 2015, they were an 11 seed. He did exactly what the seed lines should have done. He wasn’t expected to win as 11 seeds. But he didn’t have enough success in the regular season to give himself a chance to succeed in March.

I don’t think he got the guard play and got development from that position the last few years. His three highest recruits in the last 4 years were Cameron Ridley, Myles Turner, and Mick Kabongo. Ridley and Turner were PF/C. Kabongo left after 2 years. The other guards were 50-100 ranked players.
