We have some bad decision makers in crunch time.. which shouldn’t be that way with the experience we have

What was the foul at the last second? That doesn't get called 99% of the time, but they decide to call it at the end of a game? They were reviewing a foul just before that. They were looking for anything to call.
Not sure what they called, but Vescovi had missed that shot, too.

Coach Barnes didn’t choke at the line …… again!
Coach Barnes made the coaching moves to put the team back in it. Coach Barnes didn't injure Phillips or JJJ. Coach Barnes didn't make Zakai foul out on a dumb play. Coach Barnes didn't miss his free throws.

But yeah, totally, Barnes' fault

Can anyone explain why after Vescovi hit those FTs with around 12 secs left Barnes called a TO to let Mizzou draw something up and regain some composure while Mizzou didn’t have any TOs left?

Going into February, the Vols were holding opponents to 22% from 3. The single season record is 25.3%.

Since then:
at Florida 35%
vs Auburn 11%
at Vandy 40%

Avg 28.7%

Perhaps this is a regression to the mean and we should expect opponents to hit more 3's. Maybe this is an away/neutral court problem. I think it's something to keep an eye on.

Mizzou 54%

Avg 35%

Also don't understand why we didn't foul before we allowed 3.
Because we were only up 2. If you foul they can tie on two "easy" shots and you only have 4 seconds. If you don't, they have to go shoot a 3 with 4 seconds and no timeouts.

We need some answers. Rick Barnes has lost control of the program.

The team came back from 17 down after Barnes switched the line up. He did what he could as a coach. The players effed up. ZZ with dumb fouls. Santi missing FTs that would have put the game away. That's on the players, not the coach.
