You can't absolve a coach of everything. We lost to a bad team and a double digit underdog. The coach is responsible for preparation, discipline, practice, everything. Every loss is on him, every win is on him.
I didn't absolve the coach of everything. I absolved him for the things mentioned. There's still a lot out of his control. Who gets injured. How the opponents suddenly start hitting on 50% of their 3's. How his best shooter suddenly can't hit free throws to ice games. Stuff like that.

Maybe the glaring coaching mistake was the gameplan going in, and that's on the staff (and players for not executing).

If Barnes is responsible for Santi missing his FTs, does Barnes also get to sleep with Santi's GF?

He wasn't the one taking the shots??
Whose job is it to make sure his team is good at free throws (one of the easiest things to coach)? Whose teams have been bad at free throws for years? You think it's just luck that some teams are good at free throws? That's coaching, it's practice, it's discipline.
