Barnes F’n Ball Baby!!!
You can't absolve a coach of everything. We lost to a bad team and a double digit underdog. The coach is responsible for preparation, discipline, practice, everything. Every loss is on him, every win is on him.Coach Barnes made the coaching moves to put the team back in it. Coach Barnes didn't injure Phillips or JJJ. Coach Barnes didn't make Zakai foul out on a dumb play. Coach Barnes didn't miss his free throws.
But yeah, totally, Barnes' fault
Whose job is it to prepare the players properly and instill mental discipline in them? I'm a fan of Barnes, but this constant "he can't be held responsible for for how the players perform" nonsense is crazy.I don't understand why fans do this. Most of the fail was on our players and Mizzou playing a helluva game. The 2nd half was actually really well coached. Barnes needs to place more emphasis on offensive production but players were simply failing to execute tonight in a lot of ways.
