Tonight was the offense we heard about in the Gonzaga game.

Er, didnt see the finish. Had to put kids to bed.

This team’s head is in the gutter. Too many mistakes. Don’t blink and they might be a 4 seed in the tournament. Can’t have a lane violation at the free throw line.

A 4 seed? With our upcoming schedule we are looking at a 6 seed at best. Alabama will beat us and we won’t win at Rupp this week either.

I would have lost every basketball game this season to beat Bama in football. I don't give a damn. And we got to beat Florida, LSU, Pitt, Clemson. Unbothered with the state of Tennessee basketball.

Maybe we get it together by March

1) repeat as SECT champs

And/Or

2) make it to the sweet 16 or beyond

either would redeem the season and make it memorable. If they fall short of those, oh well. We beat Bama.

UK needs the win to get in the tourney. I think we will get screwed pretty bad there.
Now on the flip side, we are a desperate team with nothing to lose, and need a win bad. I dont expect it, but I could see us playing Bama tighter than expected. Dont be surprised if the line opens around -5 or so.

We just scored 85 points and lost.

And shot 45% fg, 43% 3s, 76% fts. We turned it into a shootout, and outscored them when we did. But it's unrealistic to keep up that style of play with that personnel in every game.

Maybe Barnes has had us play the way we've played because he knew we didn't have the personnel to sustain a season of shootouts. We don't have the talent at the necessary positions to play fast, though Awaka's rise has given us a better chance. Playing lights out defense has been our best way to win games, and now we are being exploited so we have to figure something out.

Auburn is 1-4 in their last 5.

Definitely not the only teams struggling to end the season.

I thought this team might struggle this season, and then the season started and they were so good defensively; they could overcome their offensive struggles. I believe reality may be setting in on this team; because other teams are learning how to overcome their defense sets and are scoring basically at will on them. I realize they scored a lot of points in this game, but you need that one player to be a reliable scorer every game and this team doesn't have that player.

Barnes has never lost to Cal twice in a season. UK will always be a toss-up, and he has owned Kentucky since we hired him.

Dang. I'm super disappointed but i'm not going to crap all over my team. They fought hard to come back and had the lead with one second left. Some of our best players were sitting on the bench fouled out or hurt.

Missouri shot lights out from the three, so did Vandy. It's basketball. Rips my heart out when we lose but I bet I don't feel worse than those guys in orange on the court. Be disappointed but always have your guys backs. Some of you all in here need to nut up and shut up.

UK fans probably said the same about their team coming to Knoxville. They've lost 2 in a row and have to go to Starkville to play a Mississippi State team on a 5-game win streak who's last lost was by 3 in Tuscaloosa.

I know how the whistle will blow in Lexington. Hell, they got home cooking in Knoxville. They'll do what they did here, beat us to death with impunity. No way we win.

And Arkansas just got manhandled by State at home and has to go to A&M next week.

Besides Bama, only A&M and State are playing consistently well as of late.

We beat them at Rupp just recently..don’t remember what year though..So I’m not gonna mark that one in the L column just yet.

Well, that makes me feel better. Ours was buzzer beaters -- which makes it devastating. This game was definitely exciting-- Barnes move to change the lineup was brilliant. It just ended like crap.
