True. I live in Kingston. I have the small town feel while being able to go into Knoxville for a good meal, shopping and have no trouble transversing around Knoxville, and I can get to Chattanooga in 1 1/2 hours and Nashville in 2. Perfect.Correct. But, that's because it's all country around Huntsville. Knoxville has Maryville, Lenoir City and more urban sprawl
That's because it is all definitions. Huntsville is half as densely populated as Knoxville. It will feel smaller. It is just because Huntsville (city proper) has taken up more than twice the square mileage. The Knoxville area will have more population not only in other towns within Knox Co but also neighboring counties, but still within the Metro Area.Really?? I was there the other day and it seemed tiny!
I figured there was a lot of ppl that just didn't live downtown, but surprising it's surpassed knoxville. That's because it is all definitions. Huntsville is half as densely populated as Knoxville. Yes, Huntsville may have more populatiom purely in their city borders. That's because they've kept/grown the city boundaries. In many cities, suburbs will separate.
Going by Urban Area, Knoxville is 86% larger. Going by MSA, really the best indicator of a true city's overall impact as a population center, Knoxville is 78% larger.
So, the Huntsville population area is actually a lot smaller.
Oh and I was visiting a friend thereI figured there was a lot of ppl that just didn't live downtown, but surprising it's surpassed knoxville.
Pretty boring town though
As a fellow color deficient person. I’m very skeptical, how are these classes going to make me see colors I’ve never seen before. Right?
Not POWs. This was after the war. To work on rockets and such at the space center. You mean the rocket scientists? Or also soldiers? POW internment camps were all over.

We are screwed if this is excessive celebration.
